How did you attract/address?

Why would people watch

our film?People will watch our film because it is targeted

at the right audience and therefore they will have

interest in the film.

They will be interested in our film also because

we conducted a survey to find out what people

liked to see in thrillers and we based our piece

on this.

In addition, we used the effect of a cliff hanger to

attract our audience and gain their attention; in

order to ensure that our audience would remain

interested.

Why would they carry on watching

after your initial 2 minute opening?

People will carry on watching the film after the 2

minute opening because we leave a cliff at the

end of the film, keeping the audience interested

and eager to find out what is going to happen

next.

In addition, they will want to continue watching

the film because we made sure that our film has

a strong sense of enigma; meaning that it is full

of mystery and is a complex puzzle. This ensures

that the audience watch it to the end as they

want to finish the film and solve the puzzle.

Why would they carry on watching

after your initial 2 minute opening?

IIThey engage with the antagonist as he approaches the protagonist with every step.

The prolonged walking also increases the tension and keeps the audience watching. More over it begins to encourage the audience to start asking questions as their imagination takes over. I.e. why is the man following the girl and does she know him?

The fact that the antagonist is able to entre the girl’s house also keeps the audience glued to find out what he does.
