Six distinct Planning Areas have been defined for development of 14,000 homes and 5 million square feet of non-residential uses. Planning Area 2 is approximately 850 acres and will include approximately 3,000 dwellings along with neighborhood retail, schools, child care, and other support services. Similar to Planning Area 1 and the remaining Ranch Plan, the residential mix will include both age-qualified and market rate housing. The overall Ranch Plan has an approximate 40/60 mix of age-qualified and market rate in order to control transportation impacts as well as address the emerging market of ageing baby boomers in the region.
