WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE FOR RESTAURANT 1873?

Gentlemen:• Collared shirt tucked in• Tailored trousers• Tie & jacket (optional)

Ladies:• Skirts, dresses, tailored pants and blazers• Millinery and elegant headwear (optional)• Dress shoes

Clothing items including denim or denim looking clothing, joggers, sandals, tracksuits, thongs, shorts, any clothing that exposes bare midriff, decrepit or torn clothing, all clothing items that display offensive material and fancy dress items are specifically not permitted in the Members’ Reserve.

WHERE IS THE RESTAURANT LOCATED?Restaurant 1873 is located on the second floor of the Main Grandstand (within the Members’ area.)

WHERE DO I COLLECT MY TICKETS FROM?You will be issued an e-ticket upon confirmation of booking. This will be your General Admission into the venue and provide access to the Restaurant where you will recieve a Members Day Pass.

WHERE CAN WE PARK AT MORPHETTVILLE?Car parks are located at The Junction (off Anzac Highway, Camden Park) and at Morphett Road opposite the Members’ Car Park entrance.

The Members’ car park at Morphettville can only be accessed with an SAJC Members’ car park pass. Car parking is free on regular race days.

WHEN DO I NEED TO MAKE PAYMENT BY?We do not require payment in full to secure your booking, we only require this for Feature Race days. A deposit is only required for bookings of 12 guests or more. You can make payment on the day prior to leaving.

WHAT TIME CAN WE ACCESS THE RESTAURANT?You are able to access the restaurant from 11:30am onwards. Treat it like a normal restaurant, from when you arrive and order is when the meals will come out. If you have any special requirements or a horse racing, just speak to your friendly staff for assistance.

WHAT TIME DOES THE FIRST RACE START?The time of the first race is dependant on the time of year. For an up to date schedule, please refer to the below website on the Thursday the week of your event. www.racingaustralia.horse

WILL ANYONE ELSE BE SITTING ON OUR TABLE?On a standard race day, your party will be seated on your own table. We try our best to accommodate this on feature race days also, however, due to the high demand, in some cases, shared tables may occur.

ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED INTO THE RESTAURANT?Yes, children are welcome in the restaurant at a discounted rate. Please specify upon booking the age of the children.
