Charlie Green

CEO, The Office Group

Having qualified as a chartered surveyor, Charlie went client-side working on general property development for a Plc property group, with a particular focus on office space. In late 2003, Charlie started The Office Group (TOG) with Olly Olsen, to create design-led flexible office space with the aim of challenging the market in terms of product and value, providing a long-term property solution for small businesses in the creative, media and technology sectors. Today, TOG has a mixed portfolio of freehold and leasehold buildings with 25 buildings, 23 across London. @TheOfficeGroup

Peter Hewitt-Penfold Property & Estates Manager, Financial Conduct Authority

Peter has spent the last 20 years working in Property and Estates Management. His experience comes from working in both the private and public sector, working at British American Tobacco, Ernst & Young, The Legal Services Commission and now The Financial Conduct Authority. He is responsible for Property and Estates Management in London and Edinburgh and during the next three years, will oversee the construction and fit-out of 500,000 square foot and the migration of 3800 staff to a new office building in The International Quarter, Stratford. @TheFCA

Tracy Badau

Strategy and Visioning Consultant, Cordless Consultants

Tracy is a highly experienced Consultant, her career starting within Facilities Management in the UK. Relocating to Australia in 2002, Tracy had the opportunity to move into relocation consultancy, managing moves for a number of blue-chip clients in Melbourne. Before leaving Australia, she spent three years on the workplace transformation of National Australia Bank, a program of physical, technological and cultural change responding to a need for improved flexibility promoting work/life balance, collaboration, sustainability and efficient use of property assets. @cordlessconsult

Jane Clay Senior Associate, Gensler

With a fascination for understanding how people use spaces, Jane works with companies to get the best value and best use from individual buildings and entire real estate. Jane’s experience is drawn from a career involved with numerous sectors, from public sector, banking and learning environments to media, publishing and technology. Jane regularly advises developers, architects and designers on best practice workplace design. Currently involved in major workplace design and rollout projects for global clients, her expertise is focused on understanding the culture and personality of firms. @GenslerOnCities

Kevin Chapman UK Head of Offices, Lendlease

Kevin is directly involved in the delivery and promotion of the 4 million sq ft of offices at The International Quarter, Stratford City. Previous roles include Managing Director of Garbe Real Estate and six years as the UK Property Director for CLS Holdings Plc where Kevin took an active role in the evolution and development of the Renzo Piano designed Shard and London Bridge Place projects at London Bridge. Kevin represented landlord and tenant clients across a number of leasing, development and investment transactions as an Executive Director at the consulting firm Nelson Bakewell (now part of Capita Group) where he led their City of London office. @LendLeaseGroup

Paul Dunn Director, RTKL

Paul is a director at RTKL and leader of the workplace design team in London. He recently completed a secondment to RTKL’s parent company ARCADIS to strengthen its workplace offer to multi-national corporations and governments. Paul has three decades of experience designing commercial office buildings and workplace interiors in the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. When it comes to the workplace, he believes design is the relatively easy bit: The true test of success lies in codifying performance-driven metrics into workplace solutions. @RTKLAssociates

Marie Scott

Partner, Nabarro LLP London

Marie is a partner in the Nabarro Real Estate team and acts for a variety of private sector clients in relation to complex, mixed used development and regeneration projects; mixed used and office investment, both by UK clients and overseas inward investors; and occupier pre-lets on office, retail and leisure development schemes. Marie has recently led the Nabarro teams advising on several high profile development schemes for well-known clients, which work has resulted in the team being shortlisted for a number of industry awards.@nabarro

Steve Toon Director, AKT II

Steve is a Design Director at AKT II and he is currently involved in a variety of projects and sectors. Steve’s commercial experience is broad in nature, ranging from large speculative new-build offices, to smaller SME focussed re-invention developments. Steve worked with Argent on the commercial zone at Kings Cross, where AKT II engineered all six Pancras Square Buildings that are either completed or under construction. Beyond the Kings Cross estate, Steve’s portfolio includes Derwent London’s Charlotte Street building and the recently completed Turnmill. @AKT_II

Katrina Kostic Samen

Managing Partner, KKS-Strategy

Over three decades of experience in commercial development and workplace design makes Katrina uniquely qualified to provide clients with strategic advice and design schemes from an ‘inside–out’ architectural philosophy for business. Founded in January 2004, the practice today advises both major developers and occupiers in financial, legal, insurance and corporate sectors in the UK, Europe, Middle East and USA. Katrina regularly speaks on best practice in workplace design, development criteria and occupier strategy. She addressed Harvard Business School, and was appointed a BCO Board Member in 2008, short listed for CoreNet Partner of the Year and has many articles published. @Katrina_K_Samen

Social Anthropologist, Town Planner and Interior Designer, Ziona’s specialisms are user research and design strategy, linking evidence-based social, cultural, design and management perspectives to shape responsive built settings that meet developer, occupier and end-user aspirations: www.zza.co.uk. As Founder Director of ZZA Responsive User Environments, Ziona’s practice spans diverse locations, building types and business sectors, across multiple spatial scales - interiors, buildings and the urban realm. She is Visiting Professor at University of Reading, and highly experienced as an awards judge, expert panellist, author and frequent international presenter.
