Entry Level CoursesEntry Level Courses are for students who usually require extra support or have specifi c learning diffi culties. Our teaching and support staff will help students to be successful and guide them through their time at College. Many of these courses follow a general programme to enable students to develop their potential, with some giving the opportunity to gain qualifi cations in English, Maths and IT.

Foundation Level CoursesFoundation Courses are beginner courses, which include communication and study skills, providing a well-rounded introduction to your chosen course. Most people use these as a route to Intermediate Level. These courses are interesting and career focused, combining theory with practical work. They will develop your personal qualities by encouraging teamwork, co-operation and self-motivation.

Intermediate CoursesOur intermediate courses are equivalent to four GCSEs at Grade A*-C. These courses combine theory and practical work, with some including work placements so that you can start to acquire valuable work experience. They allow you to study an area that really interests you, and are mostly used as a means to progressing to an Advanced Level Course. If you study a BTEC First Diploma course this can lead to the next level, the National Diploma.
