About us

Stylecraft is a 100% export oriented industry, producing specialized high quality woven shirts. Equipped with modern machinery and highly skilled personnel it has an annual production capacity to produce 3 million pieces.

Stylecraft was listed on the Dhaka stock exchange in 1983, one of the very first establishments in the industry to do so. Stylecraft is highly regarded within the industry and the capital markets, as one of its pioneering RMG concerns leading the sector. Among its clients are world renowned fashion brands like van heusen, donna karen, c&a, and hennes & mauritz to name a few.

Stylecraft employs around 4500 personnel and leads the industry by example in terms of working conditions and employee welfare. Stylecraft was as one of two Bangladeshi institutions selected by the international labor organization (ILO) for a visit by the UN Secretary General, Mr. Kofi Annan’s wife Mrs. Nane Annan during their visit to Dhaka in 2001.

In addition, Stylecraft also offers turnkey management services to the industry, and has operations and management contracts with several other manufacturing concerns.

Factory Area Organization:

Our Facilities:Our state of the art factory at Gazipur of 30 production lines has a utilized work area of 330,000 sq.ft, with full power supplied by rural electrical board and in case of emergency we have full back up power from our own two 650 kva generator. The factory meets all health and safety guidelines in relation to fire and safety provisions, lighting and emergency procedures.

Furthermore there would be enough provision for future expansion. Item and capacity for future expansion is still open to demand.

Please note that we have moved to our new facility at gazipur. Therefore, our present production capacity of 24 sewing lines still could not reach full yield of the building capacity. Once we attain the full capacity of the building, we will have 42 lines with higher production output.

Quality Assurance:

Quality control is done in different phases of cutting, sewing and finishing. The quality control department is headed by a quality control manager. Assistant qc manager (sewing) and assistant qc manager (finishing) assist the qc manager. Each production and finishing line has a quality controller assisted by one qc inspector and two checkers at the end of production line. Quality controllers are responsible for in line quality checks and the complete garments are checked at the end of both sewing and finishing lines by the quality checkers before passing each and every garment. Quality control section is directly responsible to the management. Stylecraft has & maintains its own quality control manual strictly which has been designed & developed over 20 years period which covers all international quality assurance standards.
