Local authorities have processed 57,200 awards
totalling £696.6m for the Covid-19 business rates
grants.
The DBW’s Covid-19 Wales Business Loan Scheme
received 1,608 applications totalling £103m. As at
08 June, 1,423 businesses across Wales have been
awarded funding totalling £96.1m (£78.8m drawn &
£17.3m approved), safeguarding just over 17,000
jobs.
The Economic Resilience Fund has received almost
6,900 micro-business applications totalling £66.9m,
and almost 2,600 SME applications totalling
£142.8m. The Larger Business Fund has received
over £26m worth of applications, with further
applications being processed which show the
applications will likely increase to about £28m.
