Objectives of SS Strands

The Ohio Department of Education has created these Social Studies strands in an attempt to develop a variety of crucial skills within the same SS classroom.

The strands help guide teachers who are unsure of how to develop these areas of SS into their classes, and will strengthen their abilities as a teacher.
