I’mreallyexcitedtoannounceanew,one-of-a-kindperformanceensemblecomingtoOceanCity,calledtheSonClubOrffConsort,anditwillbeginafterauditionsarecompleted. Foryears,OceanCity’smusicalstudentsandparentshavedesiredtohaveanOrffensemble.AndnowOC’sartisticorganizationswillbecomplementedwithauniqueperformanceensembleforkidstosing,play,andmovesimultaneously,featuringOrffinstruments. Parentsofgrades5-6-7-8studentsmaycontactmebyemailorcellphonetoscheduleanaudition.Auditionswillbeheld5:00-6:00PMintheTabauditorium,MondaythruThursday,February25-28.Membershipislimited.Seereversesideforspecificdetails.Signupimmediatelyforanaudition.

Ensemble Size: Limited space—maximum 14 Semester Length: 7 weeks: March 4 through April 18, 2019 Registration: One time $25 fee per semester (purchases a special Son Club Consort performance T-shirt) Son Club Orff Consort: By audition only: (1) Singing in tune, and (2) Maintaining a steady beat required Grades 5-6-7-8 Public performances, INVITATIONS ACCEPTED Son Club Consort Times: Mandatory rehearsals 5:15-6:00 PM twice per week, located in the Kull Youth Bldg, OC Tabernacle Son Club Consort Tuition*: $15 per 45 minutes, twice per week, payable in one payment of $210 or 2 payments of $105 (*There is no Tuition cost for students who are enrolled in the Tabernacle Son Club.)
