Recent Promotions Oxford Properties

Reilly Security Promotes from within! Senior Supervisor Vanessa Lopes was recently promoted to Security Manager at Oxford Properties, and Security Guard Wendy Russell was promoted to Senior Supervisor. Vanessa has worked with Reilly Security for 9 years while Wendy has been with the company for 3 years. We would like to congratulate both employees and thank them for their hard work and dedication.

K9 Reilly Update K9 Reilly will officially be completing his training with Toronto Police and is scheduled to graduate this coming May. As mentioned in the previous newsletter, we sponsored Reil-ly to be a candidate for the PDS unit and are happy to announce that Reilly is close to completing the 15 week training course and accepting his badge.

Reilly Security will now be providing security services for the Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada (SOCAN). SOCAN is a not-for-profit organization that represents the Canadian performing rights of millions of Canadian and international music creators and publishers.

Reilly Security working for EMAT


Crisis in Attawapiskat

The Emergency Medical Assistance Team (EMAT) is currently helping with the crisis occurring in Attawapiskat. Reilly Security was selected to provide security support for the EMAT team in Ontario. The EMAT is a mobile medical field unit that can be deployed in Ontario within 24 hours. The EMAT can set-up a 56 bed unit that provides a staging and triage base, and has the capability to treat 20 acute care patients and 36 intermediate care patients. The Attawapiskat First Nation is an isolated First Nation located in Kenora District in northern Ontario. Below you will see our mobile supervisors Chase Barry and Greg Weller stationed at the Attawapiskat Hospital.

New Management


Rak Ketheeswaran has recently joined Reilly Security as the Operations Coordina-tor. He joins the oper-ations team with over 6 years of event man-agement and security experience. Rak has been a member of the Canadian Armed Forces for over 4 years.

Years of Employment

This is a special Employee Spotlight and congratulations for Security Supervisor Marlon Pompey who has been accepted into the Peel Region Police Force. Marlon joined Reilly Security in February 2014 and was promoted to Site Supervisor in 2015. We want to wish Marlon a successful transition into his new career.

Supercross 2016 The world’s premier stadium motorcycle circuit re-turned to the Rogers Centre and Reilly Security provided the event security. Monster Energy AMA Supercross showcased some of the best riders from across the globe. Below you will see security guard Steve Richard and to the right Andrea Ro-driguez on duty before the event began.

Reilly Security is the approved security ser-vices vendor for the Exhibition Place, recently providing services for the National Home Show & Canada Blooms which featured over 700 retailers & industry experts.

We are now offering First Aid / CPR training to all Reilly Security staff at a special discounted rate! Training Manager Rob Khashmanian is certified through the Ottawa Paramedics FA/CPR program. The program is designed to give participants an overview of first aid by teaching you how to think and react in an emergency.
