MASS INTENTIONS FOR THE WEEK Preparing for the Baptismal Font and Remodeling

Peace and good! As we continue to prepare for the installation of the permanent baptismal font, we begin to complete the replacement of the tile and carpeting in the Church. It is our hope, that the work will be completed in anoth-er week. The following projects (refer to previous bulletins) are taking place at this time:

• The tile in the narthex and hallway is being replaced;

• The carpet in the nave of the Church has been replaced;

• Tile will be installed in the area of the baptismal font; and

• The baptismal font will be installed once the tile and carpet has been completed.

The tile and carpet replacement is part of the parish’s overall maintenance plan and is supported by your generosity to the Parish Facility Collection. The per-manent baptismal font has been studied for several years. With the remodeling being planned for the tile and carpet, the Friars presented the need for the per-manent baptismal font to the Finance Council and Parish Advisory Council, and then presented the need to Bishop Burbidge for his approval. The baptismal font was purchased through the generosity of a dona-tion by the Knights of Columbus, Good Samaritan Council 6175. Please be attentive to the weekday Mass and Church schedule during remodeling (see the bulletin and/or web site). Please note that all activities and private visits to the Church during the weekdays are can-celled. We thank you for your cooperation and under-standing. In the peace of Francis of Assisi,
