Advent comes from the Latin word meaning
"coming." Jesus is coming, and Advent is intended
to be a season of preparation for His arrival. While
we typically regard Advent as a joyous season, it is
also intended to be a period of preparation, much
like Lent. Prayer, penance and fasting are
appropriate during this season.

FALCON’S CORNER
As we move to the end of our first
semester, we are blessed to be thriving
with an amazing faculty, staff and student
population, including 34 new students, who love coming
to school everyday. We are indeed a prosperous school
and you play a vital role in St. Mary’s Catholic School’s
success.
As we prepare for our 2018-2019 Annual Appeal, we
are mindful of the financial sacrifices you make. Your
generosity has directly impacted our rich academic and
extra-curricular programs our school offers. Without
your gifts to our Annual Appeal, we would not be able to
achieve the excellence in faith-based education for
which St. Mary’s Catholic School is known. We depend
on you to help fulfill the mission of our commitment to
academic excellence and spiritual development, leading
our students toward a life of prayer, service and love.
Please join us in reaching this year’s goal of $25,000 by
making a donation to the 2018-2019 Annual Appeal.
Note that you can use installments to help you reach
your desired gift amount. And, of course, donations to
St. Mary’s Catholic School are tax deductible.
To donate, please contact the school at (254) 778-8141. Thank you for helping us to continue our mission. With Gratitude, Theresa Wyles, Principal Important Dates to Remember

And Joseph also went up from Galilee, from the city
of Nazareth, to Judea, to the city of David, which is
called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and
lineage of David, to be enrolled with Mary, his
betrothed, who was with child. Luke 2:4-5
