EASTER SUNDAY : APRIL , 21 2019 Reflection: Alleluia, Alleluia Christ is Risen
"Our Lord has written the promise of resurrection, not in books alone, but in every leaf in springtime." "No winter lasts forever; no spring skips its turn." "Easter is meant to be a symbol of hope, renewal, and new life.
The Resurrection of Jesus from the dead means that death has no hold on us. There is a reality beyond this reality. We do not have to hold on to this life, in fact, we can let it go. We don’t have to be the best, the top, the richest, the strongest… What we do need to have is an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ and a life that allows him to overtake us, live through us and make us the best humanity has to offer. It is through THIS event that Jesus bridges the gap between this life and heaven. By defeating death, we who go through death that have been attached to him, made part of him in baptism and remain in him through the Eucharist and a life that loves God and neighbor, we transcend death into a life forever and ever. May the beauty of the spring season and the Holiness of this East-er, keep our hearts and minds attached to Jesus, the One who is Risen, the One who gives life to all who accepts His Resurrection.
Alleluia, Alleluia, Cristo Vive!

YOUTH CORNER. Again and again, Jesus says, “Peace be
with you.” As in today’s Gospel, this gift of peace is connected with the power of the Holy Spirit and the mandate that God’s Mercy be shared with others. Share the gift of peace with someone who is expressing doubt about God’s love and mercy by offering your presence and words of reassurance. Happy Easter to you all!
