In January of 1968 the St. Vincent de Paul Society was organized at St. Michael’s Parish. This year we are celebrating 45 years of ser-
vice to the needy in our community. The members distributed beds, mattresses, tables, chairs, chesterfields, stoves, a large quantity
of clothing and many other items. The Society supports two families with the Save A Family Plan in India. At Christmas 61 families
received a Christmas hamper consisting of food and gifts.
Unfortunately, this year we had to make the decision to close our clothing store in the basement of the church. The location in the
basement because of the dampness is not suitable for the storing of clothing. If anyone knows of a suitable location please contact
any member of our Society.
At this time the members of St. Vincent de Paul Society would like to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to the parishioners
of St. Michael’s for their kind support and generosity.
Edward Dignam, President.

The Capital Campaign Committee appreciates your participation in this fundraiser and remember ... every penny counts towards “Building Our Future”!
