This is the Original Image I have chosen to use on the front cover of my Music Magazine. Initially, I chose not to make any changes to the image, and left it as it was.

I began adding the Masthead to my image, making it appear more like a magazine. The masthead, taken from dafont.com, had been changed from black to red, as it fits with the colour scheme I initially chose to use.

After continuing to add more Sell Lines to the image, I chose to make changes to the colour scheme. The main sell lines and masthead were changed to yellow, rather than red, as I felt it was more fitting to the genre and target audience I was trying to appeal to.

I chose the change the title of my magazine from LP to Encore, as it sounds more relevant to a music magazine. Also, the term is widely used, so people would instantly realize that the magazine I was making was focused solely on music.

I moved the title of the magazine behind the Front Cover image, as it allowed the image to stand out more against the text.

After adding the barcode, main sell lines, I chose to change their colour to white, as it fits with the colour scheme.

I changed the levels of the image, so that it would appear less blurred, and would appear more vibrant against the black background. As well as this, I feathered the image, so that it would appear softer around the title, giving it a more professional look.

I chose to change the colour of some sell lines on the Cover to green, as it made them stand out more, making them easier to see. As well as this, the changes on the Cover fit the changes with the colour scheme made throughout the magazine. This is the final version of my Front Cover.
