SUMMER TRAINING OBJECTIVE:

OBJECTIVE -1: To capture the customer base of the area(outlet specific)and suggest ways to increase the same. OBJECTIVE-2: To do focused activities in the outlets and surrounding areas for bringing an increase in sales of Fresh Fruit & Vegetables and Products. OBJECTIVE-3:To analyse the overall ambience of the outlets and work on the Booth Management – Visual Merchandising/Rack Display etc.

Mother dairy is one of the largest liquid milk plants in Asia. It started its operations in 1974 under the Operation Flood Programmers of the National Dairy development Board. MotherDairy sources its requirement of liquid milk from dairy co-operatives and producer institutions.Presently, Mother Dairy sells more than 25 lakh liters of milk per day, out of which approximately 9lakh liters of milk is sold as bulk vended milk and another 16 lakh liters of milk is sold in sachets in five different variants across six states.Mother Dairy's range of products include the brands Mother Dairy products, curd, ice cream, butter, etc, Dhara and Safal (range of fresh fruits and vegetables, frozen vegetables, fruit juices).Mother Dairy Fruit and Vegetable Pvt. Ltd. offers the following products: Mother Dairy markets dairy products like Liquid Milk, Ice Creams, Flavoured Milk, Dahi, Lassi, Mishti Doi, Ghee, White Butter, Table Butter, Cheese, UHT Milk, Dhara range of edible oils and the Safal range of fresh Fruits & Vegetables, Frozen Vegetables and Fruit Juices at a national level, through its sales and distribution networks, for marketing food items. Mother Dairy milk (Bulk Vended Milk) is fortified with vitamin A @2000 IU per litre of milk as a part of social accountability.

Fruit and Vegetable Unit was set up in the year 1988 by National Dairy Development Board , an institute of national importance, a body corporate created by Government of India , with an objective to provide a direct link between fruit and vegetable growers and consumers.

Suggestion for Mother dairy The Booth is specially recommended and utilized to Fulfill the customer needs for their daily works. But I suggest that the company should open the booth in every city of India by which most of the persons can take the utility of it.Suggestion for Safal products Safal products are very much useful for household purposes, but for increasing the sale the company should go for different types of schemes which can attract the customers.
