through the summer months of July, August and early September.

Based in the heart of the historic city, Canterbury Christ Church University offers a range of excellent 3 - 5 star University accommodation, available for lets during the summer months. The variety of rooms range from shared facilities and en-suite bedrooms to self-catering flats and houses. Bed and breakfast options are also available as well as full and half board for group bookings. The variety of accommodation and venue space is suitable for all types of bookings:

The accommodation is based over a number of locations across Canterbury, all within walking distance to the city centre. All sites offer self-catering facilities, laundry services, internet access and 24-hour security. Parking is also available at some of the locations.

CANTERBURY CAMPUS

PETROS COURT

Petros Court is the brand new 5* University accommodation and offers 418 en-suite rooms arranged in cluster flats of three to eight guests. Each have a spacious kitchen/dining area furnished with sofas and a television. Petros Court is located close to the Canterbury city centre and has two landscaped courtyards. There are 24 – hour security on site and safe social areas.

ST GEORGE’S CENTRE AND DOVER STREET HOUSES

St George’s Centre has over 200 double en-suite rooms arranged in flats of up to eight guests. The flat includes a communal living and dining area, furnished with sofas and a television.

Dover Street Houses comprises of 10 x 3 bedroom houses, perfect for families and short term lets.

St George’s and Dover Street Houses are situated just a few minutes’ walk from the main high street; its prime location offers a fantastic opportunity to visit all of the historic sites that Canterbury has to offer.

LANFRANC Lanfranc House is situated within the Northgate area of Canterbury and within the City’s Historic King’s Mile.

The enclosed accommodation is designed to blend with its historic surroundings. There are single and twin rooms available in flats and houses for three to seven guests. Secure parking is available at Lanfranc (on request).

PARHAM STUDENT VILLAGE

Parham Road Student Village is made up of over five hundred single bedrooms in a mixture of houses and flats. Parham Road Student Village is located within a fifteen minute walk from the city centre and a two minute walk from a large 24 hour supermarket.

Davidson, Lang and Temple are situated on the University’s main Canterbury Campus on North Holmes Road. This accommodation is just a few minutes’ walk from the main city centre and close to our food outlets. The flats consist of up to nine single en-suite rooms per floor with a shared kitchen and communal area.

CITY HALLS AND UNIVERSITY HOUSES The City Halls are located at various sites across Canterbury, close to both the University Campus and the city centre. Vernon Place and Oaten Hill are close to St George’s Centre, whilst Holmes Court and College Court are located parallel to the North Holmes Road Campus.

We also offer University Houses at Havelock Street and North Holmes Road, which are perfect for families and small groups.

PIN HILL Pin Hill overlooks the city walls and is located opposite Canterbury East train station - this is a short walk from the City Centre and Dane John Gardens. The accommodation consists of 157 single rooms with a mix of en-suite and shared facilities. Pin Hill is perfect for summer schools and large groups.

BROADSTAIRS CAMPUS

The Broadstairs campus is next to the Westwood Cross Retail Outlet and Entertainment Centre, and is close to the seaside towns of Broadstairs, Margate and Ramsgate. Northwood Court is conveniently located adjacent to the main Broadstairs campus.

VENUE HIRE Canterbury Christ Church has a variety of venues which offer a huge range of rooms and spaces which are the ideal location for Conferences, Meetings, Summer Schools, Music Events, Private Events and Wedding Receptions.

CONFERENCE AND MEETINGS The variety of spaces range from small consultation rooms to large hall spaces and lecture theatres, which can hold up to 400 delegates, we also have fully accessible rooms available. We can offer breakfast, half day, full day and evening meeting spaces. All of our meeting spaces have excellent audio-visual facilities, Wi-Fi, a variety of room layouts. Car parking is available at some of our venues, on request.

PRIVATE AND SPECIAL EVENTS We can offer an array of settings including St. Georges, Augustine House and St Martin’s Priory, which all offer different backdrops for any special occasion. St George’s Centre comprises a multifunction room with full catering and bar facilities. Augustine House is the perfect venue for a sit down banquet event, which can hold up 200 guest cabaret style. St Martin’s Priory offers a picturesque location for any private event or wedding reception. With landscaped gardens and views of Canterbury Cathedral, this venue offers a quiet and private space. Alternatively, our gardens offer the perfect space for a marquee for larger parties.

SUMMER SCHOOLS, GROUP TRAVEL AND CHOIR GROUPS At our Canterbury and Broadstairs campus we are able to offer teaching rooms alongside

the accommodation for summer schools. Our venues have full IT access, complimenting

any summer school in their learning.

Playing host to a large number of well-known summer schools on an annual basis boasts

excellent experience in the organisation and delivery of well-planned services and the

understanding of a summer school's needs and requirements.

We are also very popular with choir groups worldwide due to our close proximity to

Canterbury Cathedral. This is a very popular tourist destination and a venue the choirs

have the opportunity to perform at.

CATERING We are proud to announce we are accredited with Hospitality Assured and hold full Fair-trade status. We have also gained the Food for Life accreditation, being awarded bronze for our hot and cold buffet menus. Our menus are prepared largely from locally sourced produce and we are more than happy to cater to individual dietary needs. Catering packages can include breakfast, lunch, dinner, BBQs and formal dinners.
