Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament

M-W-F 9:30 am - Noon First Friday until 8:00 pm

Please note, that beginning the week of August 24th, the School Mass will take place on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday at 8:00 am. With all the adaptations we are making due to the Covid virus, the School Mass schedule has been effected. We are having to split the grades to ensure social distancing. Therefore, we will not expose the Blessed Sacrament on Friday mornings between the Masses. We apologize for the change. August Events:

August 18: 7:00 pm RCIA Inquiry August 18: 6:00 pm Lector & EM Training August 20: 6:00 pm Lector & EM Training August 20: 6:30 pm Grief Share August 23: 10:00 am Religious Ed Parent Meeting August 27: 6:30 pm Grief Share August 30: Noon Religious Ed Parent Meeting

A note from the pastor As we return to some sort of normalcy and routine, please note that for confessions: we will once again use the confessional on the left side, while continuing to use the back chapel space on the right side. Also I have received quite a few messages concerning the noise level in the church both before and after the Masses (weekday and weekend). Please be mindful that the Church is primarily a place for prayer, and we should reserve our “conversation” for the Lord, and we should keep in mind that for many people the few moments around Mass are their only times of rest during this stressful time.

Distribution of Holy Communion…

The current method of lining up across the front seems to be working well and giving adequate time to adjust masks and reverently consume the Host.

Please begin to line up as soon as the priest has consumed the Holy Euchar ist, no need to wait until priest approaches.

Once you have consumed and adjusted your mask, return to your seat down the main aisle.

The next person should fill the available spot as soon as the previous person vacates, no need to wait until all spots are empty.

Please note:

Reverence and care to ensure that the Eucharist is immediately consumed by the recipient is imperative.

The clergy will be distributing Holy Communion on the tongue for those who so desire.

All Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion will distribute Holy Communion only in the hand.

Holy Communion may not be received in the hand if a member of the faithful is wearing gloves or is holding other objects (rosary/baby) in his/her hands. Both hands must be free.

When receiving on the tongue, please tilt head back, and stick tongue out and over the teeth and lips, keep head steady.

When receiving in the hand, place one hand on top of the other, keep hand flat, please don’t grab the host.

If your mask has been removed before the Minister distributes the Host, please do not say Amen.

Anyone not receiving Holy Communion is encouraged to remain in their pew, children may accompany their parents; they should not come forward unattended.

Personal blessings will not be given during Communion, the blessing at the end of Mass is sufficient.

For those not attending Mass and wish to receive the Holy Eucharist, Communion will be distributed from the entrance to the Adoration Chapel on Saturday at 5:30 pm and Sunday at 10:30 am. Please maintain social distancing while you wait.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation and for your continued support of our parish.
