We would like to reignite our Ignatian Spirituality programs here at St. Anthony’s. Will you help?
A number of years ago, many of our parishioners took part in Living with Christ (The program is now called Meeting Christ in Prayer). These programs are grounded in the Spiritual Exercises of Ignatius Loyola. Participants meet once a week in small groups with a facilitator.
Meeting Christ in Prayer offers the opportunity to:
• Seek spiritual renewal and deepen your spiritual life • Learn how to pray as an adult • Form regular prayer habits/try new ways of praying • Reflect on Scripture • Become more aware of God’s presence in your life • Join a supportive, faith-sharing community The program is an 8-week commitment and requires daily prayer and journaling. We need the help of facilitators: If you have been involved in either Living with Christ or Meeting Christ in Prayer in the past and would like to be a facilitator for a new series here at St. Anthony’s, we invite you to participate in Meeting Christ in Prayer once again. PLEASE FILL OUT FORM BELOW AND DROP IT OFF AT THE

BACK 2 SCHOOL STORE (A project of the National Council of Jewish Women, Peninsula and South Shore Sections)
This year, St. Anthony’s Parish Outreach participated in this annual event for qualified students to help prepare them for the new school year. Each child received new clothing and school supplies selected with a trained NCJW volunteer as their personal shopper. While the child shopped, their parent had an opportunity to visit the onsite Family Resource Center where health, nutrition, community and social service resources were available. Thirty-two participants were served during this event (19 students and 13 parents). A warm thank you is extended to Rosemary Enright from St. Anthony’s Parish for bringing this event to our attention. Special gratitude goes to Barbara Sklar, Child Recruitment Coordinator, NCJW and Hope Coleman, Coordinator of the Back 2 School Store, NCJW.
