Introduction
The database in the CountrySTAT Tanzania is organized according to major domains identified by FAO under two major groups:
CountrySTAT Core and CountrySTAT Sub-national. The core data consist of national data shared with FAOSTAT database while the related or sub national data are those with sub national relevance
The role of CountrySTAT TWG
• Work as a team to address the challenges like data inconsistencies, outdated data and data gaps
• To make sure more comparable data are collected to facilitate planning

Issues
• Different methodology of data collection from the source
• Lack of coordination between data users and data producers
