Pride and Prejudice is one of the most recognised and well-known novels written in English of all time. The novel is about the lifes of two young girls, Catherine and Lydia, who live in a village called Longbourn. To have fun, both Catherine and Lydia usually go visit her aunt Mrs Phillips to get to know what is going on in Meryton, the town where she lives. The girls love spending time with her. However, what they are really keen on is that her aunt tells them everything about the military guys staying in Meryton for the entire winter.

Catherine and Lydia get too excited what they start to visit her aunt more frequently to get to know all about the soldiers. Her aunt, who is such a gossipy woman, always chats with them to get out all the information she can: possible partners, what they like, etc. No secrets can be kept from Mrs Phillips. Thats why Catherine and Lydia become way too crazy about the military guys. As the girls interest gets increased, both of them start visiting Mrs Phillips more and more. Nothing like a good uniform can make these girls excitement and willingness to be part of the soldiers lifes go higher and higher. Who knows what might happen between the girls and the soldiers.

Not everyone seems to be as meddlesome as the girls and her aunt. Catherine and Lydias dad cant stand their craziness and how girly the two fool girls are, girls who dont have better thing to do than go to another town for a silly chitchat and get their noses in someone elses life.
