The Lt. Governor, A & N Islands, Admiral DK Joshi, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, NM, VSM

(Retd) will be inaugurating the Modern Fish Market at Junglighat at 10 am, on July

4, 2018. The Member of Parliament, Shri. Bishnu Pada Ray, Chief Secretary, A & N

Administration, Shri Vikram Dev Dutt and the PBMC Chairperson, Shri. Indra Pal

Singh will also be present on this occasion.

The project of this Modern Fish Market is funded by the Department of Fisheries, A

& N Administration and the National Fisheries Development Board (NFDB),

Hyderabad with the objective to provide a modern and hygienic market for the general

public. The market has a Chilled Room facility, a solid and liquid waste disposal

machine for conversion of fish waste to manure and a separate electronic weighing

balance counter where the consumers can check the weight of fish purchased from

the market, a communication from Asst. Director of Fisheries, South

Andaman said.

School have made a mark

in the respective fields, he

The Chief Secretary also

assured to initiate and

monitor the establishment

of a museum and a

multipurpose hall in the

school. The foundation

stone of the said museum

has already been laid.

The Chief Secretary also

the School for the

(WMBBF-2018) organized

recently. About 65

participants from various

research institutes like

Pondicherry University,

9. The rate quoted will be valid upto the date of supply of the items as mentioned in the supply order and the Gram Panchayat will not have any

responsibility for hike in the price till the date of supply.

10. Firms should have sufficient stock of the items and should be delivered the same to this office of the Pradhan, Gram Panchayat,

on payment of Rs. 200/- (Non Refundable) per set on any working day during 9.00 AM to

03.00 PM. Tender documents will be sold upto 03.00 PM on 20/07/2018. The terms and

conditions of the tender may also be downloaded from the official website http://eproc.andaman.gov.in of A & N Administration. Such tenders shall accompany Rs.

200/-in the Form of Demand Draft in favour of Accounts Officer (Transport) towards the cost

of the documents. The tender should be placed in the tender box kept in the Procurement

Section on or before 03 PM on 23/07/2018 and the same will be opened on 23/07/2018 at

03.30 PM in the presence of Tenderers, if any, present at the time of opening of the tender. If

the date of opening of tender falls on holiday, the same shall be opened on next working day

at the same time.
