The Tennant Company oval logo is not required to be on Nobles or Alfa advertising. Your project manager should specify when to include the Tennant company logo on any pieces.

When working on projects that feature one of Tennant's Secondary brands as the main focus, the Tennant Company oval logo can also be shown in a parent endorser role. This helps reinforce the Secondary brand's connection to Tennant as the parent brand. The Tennant oval logo can be placed at a smaller size at the bottom by the company address.

MULTIPLE LOGO USAGE EXAMPLES
MULTIPLE TENNANT BRAND LOGOS
Sometimes a project will feature multiple Tennant brands, such as Tennant Product and Nobles. In this case, the logos should be used at a similar visual size and placed next to each other.
If technology logos are to be featured in the project, these can be placed underneath at a smaller size, usually by a description of the technology.
DISTRIBUTOR LOGOS
If a distributor logo is to be used, normally it should be placed underneath and at a smaller size than the Tennant brand logos. However, this may vary depending on the distributor; your project manger will specify how to use the logo in those cases.

TENNANT® COMPANY & PRIMARY FONTSBody CopyStone Sans II ITC Commercial is the main font for the Tennant Company and Primary brands. It can be used for body copy as well as paragraph headings. For normal paragraph text, such as this, the Book version is preferred. To emphasize information within copy, use the Semibold or Italic options. If space is an issue, such as in translated copy, the condensed versions of the font may be used.
Main HeadlinesUnivers should be used for main headlines and titles. Bold or black versions are recommended for headlines and titles. Condensed versions of this font are also available for when there is limited space.

GRAPHIC ELEMENTS – NOBLESTaglineThe Nobles tagline is “Built to be tough. Made to be easy.” The tagline is set in Gotham Medium and Gotham Bold. The words “tough” and “easy” are set in approximately 8pt larger size than the other words and bolded for emphasis. It can be colored white or any combination of the approved Nobles colors.
Machine NamesOn product brochure covers, there is a special treatment given to the machine name; a gray gradient that mimics the brushed metal background. Many of these are created already, so your project manager will provide these if needed.
Rotomold and Brushed Metal TextureThe green rotomold and brushed metal textures add an industrial feel and support the Nobles rugged, no-nonsense messaging. Make sure any text or logos placed on the textures can be easily read.
BoltsThe metal bolts are another design element that can be used with a color block or textures. They also support the Nobles “built to be tough” messaging. Use in the corners of a block with an adequate margin from the edges and text.

SPEED SCRUB® RIDEREasy-to-use micro-rider scrubber for compact areas
Built to be tough. Made to be easy.
It began a half century ago in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Back then, we made products for the military that were reliable, durable and easy to use. These products were built to be tough, made to be easy. Since that time our product line has evolved, but our commitment to these standards, created long ago, has remained the same.
Throughout the ‘80s and ‘90s, Nobles grew into a market leader, with the most easy-to-use, innovative and well-built cleaning machines in the industry. The designs were simple, and well engineered, with what was at that time, the new concept of extensive use of rotomold polyethylene housings. It was unbeatable.
Today, our products are still built to be tough, made to be easy. This tradition is the driving force that’s guided us through every decision we’ve made and every machine we’ve built. It’s our legacy, and it’s not something we’re about to change.

GRAPHIC ELEMENTS – ORBIOOrbio Bracket ElementThe bracket shape is used in most Orbio pieces. The bracket was created to lead the eye and create visual focus, so place items of importance on either side (such as the logo, important headline, etc.). It can be a colored divider, or used as a block shape.
CirclesIn addition, the Orbio circle shapes from the logo can be used as a background element. They are usually outlined and set in a color close to the background color, as to not distract from the main layout.
Product Names in CopyThe Orbio machine names in copy should be written as follows:
5000-Sc (Note the hyphen after the 5000, upper case "S" and lower case "c")
os3 (Note the lower case "os")

CLEAN BREAKIT’S TIME FOR A
Break away from conventional daily-use chemicals with On-Site Generation
ON-SITE GENERATOR
www.orbio.com - 1 - 1-800-553-8033
Until the 1950s, American households purchased ice to refrigerate food in their iceboxes. Consumers paid suppliers to make, transport and deliver frozen water to their homes. Packaged cleaning chemicals — which largely consist of water, dyes and perfumes — are on a similar path as home-delivered ice because of a disruptive innovation that’s rapidly gaining the acceptance and confidence of early adopters.
On-Site Generation (OSG) technologies create effective cleaning and antimicrobial solutions right on site. This can eliminate the need for many packaged chemicals used by cleaning teams in education facilities, hospitals, public venues, casinos, retail stores and many other spaces.
A growing number of early adopters in these markets have discovered that solutions “made on site” with OSG systems often cost less than the blue, green, purple, orange and yellow packaged chemicals they’ve purchased for years. But cost savings are only a small part of the story, as early adopters have identified other compelling advantages that makeOSG worth adopting.
Simplified Cleaning Process. Replace multiple multi-colored chemical concentrates with a simple OSG unit. Reduce the burden of training new cleaning staff on how to safely dilute and apply the multiple conventional packaged chemicals.
Improved Health and Safety. Reduce employee, customer and cleaning team exposure to highly concentrated conventional chemicals. Most OSG solutions contain no VOCs and no fragrance – which reduces unwanted odors and improves indoor air quality. Unlike most packaged chemicals, OSG solutions leave no surfactant residues – and actually removes these residues left behind.
Reduced Environmental Footprint. Lifecycle assessments conducted by independent experts indicate that OSG solutions result in a dramatically reduced environmental footprint compared to conventional packaged chemicals. Not only is the transportation of these conventional packaged chemicals greatly reduced, there is less associated packaging which minimizes disposal requirements.
Lower Cost to Clean. In addition to the potential for lower chemical costs, OSG can reduce soft costs, such as training, ordering and managing of inventory.

How It Works
Uncomplicated devices (relatively low cost and easy maintenance) are connected to a tap water supply, drain and standard electrical outlet. Softened tap water and a small amount of salt, which is typically stored in the device, are combined and the mixture flows into an electrolytic cell.
Water electrolysis creates two separate streams — a cleaning solution and a one-step cleaner-disinfectant. Built-in sensors measure critical output parameters in the solutions to ensure efficacy. The solutions are then dispensed into spray bottles, automatic scrubbers, all-surface cleaners and carpet extractors for use by cleaning crews.
Learning Opportunity
Like in-home refrigerators — or hybrid cars, cloud storage and smartphones — OSG is a true disruptive innovation. While early adopters tend to move quickly, most end-users require understanding of OSG technologies and real-world evidence before they consider transforming their operations. Additional information — including case studies, videos, and OSG products — is available at www.orbio.com. Contact Orbio Technologies directly at 1-800-553-8033.

GRAPHIC ELEMENTS – ALFAAlfa CurveThe Alfa curve emphasizes the logo and helps set it apart in the layout. It can be applied as a single-stroke curve, left-header white space, or right-footer white space.
The single curve should be 5pt line thickness and proportioned appropriately, for large-format or smaller applications. The curve’s height (x), should roughly equal 1/4 its width.
For the headers, always maintain a quiet zone around the perimeter of the logo as shown. This zone is equal to the cap height of the letters “l-f” in the logotype for the top or bottom margins, and the full vertical height of the entire logo for the left or right margin.
Linear AbstractionsThese intersecting curves can be used as a background element to add emphasis and energy to the layout. The stroke weight should not exceed 1pt, and the opacity should equal 35% white, or a 65% screen of the background color.
Color BlocksRectangular blocks can be used to organize content, and can contain product images, linear abstractions or headline text. Make sure to only use the approved Alfa colors and maintain an appropriate amount of contrast with it’s content. Color blocks should always overlap or touch each other with no gaps or margins.

PREMIUM ITEMS
It is important to keep in mind the logo size and color when creating premium items to ensure maximum visibility
ShirtsWhen using any Tennant logo on shirts, be sure the logo color chosen provides enough contrast from the shirt color. The maximum size for the oval company logo is 2.5" wide. The maximum size for the product square logo is 1.25" wide. These sizes should be consistent among all shirt sizes.
Other Premium ItemsAgain, make sure there is enough contrast between the pen/mug color and the chosen logo color. Try not to show the logo smaller than the minimum size.

TRADESHOW GRAPHICS
Even though Tennant attends many types of tradeshows, it is important to be consistent when designing booth graphics.
Logo PlacementWhen possible, the logo should be placed on the top right of any tradeshow banners. For standard 33" x 84" banners, the logo should measure 8" square. If more than one panel will be displayed it is not necessary to have the logo on all the panels, however, it may be a good idea in case they are ever used separately.
Design ElementsUse only the approved brand colors and fonts in the design. Diagonal elements can be used as shown to create movement or emphasis. Any of the approved graphic treatments in the design elements section of this manual can be used as well.
