drop their child at Forest
Street gate and wait
outside the gates to
collect their children at
the end of the day,
maintaining social
distance and wearing
masks.

In Sturt we have been sharing cookies during number talks. We have been discussing fractions and sharing evenly.
Students from Sturt also enjoyed the AFL Clinic that visited Franklin recently.
Premiers Spelling Bee
All students intending to participate should collect a Premiers Spelling Bee word list
from their class teacher so they
can learn their words.
The Franklin Spelling Bee finals
will be held on Thursday 22nd
July in the Miles Franklin Hall.
Stage 3 will be followed by Stage
2.
Unfortunately parents are unable
to attend these finals.
CELEBRATING FRANKLIN!
Franklin Mortimer Shield
Last term the Franklin Boys travelled to Wagga for
the finals of the Rugby League Mortimer Shield. The
boys had a win, a draw and a loss.
The boys improved with each game and they
should be proud of their achievements.
Well done boys!
Slime Your Teacher and PBL Reward Pyjama Day
On the last Wednesday of Term 2 the SRC and PBL teams joined forces and raised some money for our
P&C. Students wore some excellent pyjama outfits to school and for $1 per go they got to slime the teacher
of their choice.

Franklin P&C have new stock of reusable Canteen Lunch Order Bags in various colours. These bags are $10 each or $12 for a blue insulated one. Please call into the office to choose a colour. Payment must be in cash as the money goes directly to the P&C not the school.
