Appropriacy (MFPA) are contextualised. Develops students meaning deduction from the
text rather than spoon feeding them. The context can cover all the forms.i.e. Positive &
negative sentences, and questions.
The text covers the target language (TL) The text covers the main function of the TL The text can generate other examples of the TL The text gives the students the right pattern to use
independently The TL is naturally used, contractions,... The text is useful for verbs patterns, phrasal verbs
use, prepositions,... Which all need a contextualised example to be correctly used.
