Main Ports in Thailand

Bangkok PAT (THBKK) – also known as Bangkok Port

Authority of Thailand or Klong Toey. Bangkok PAT is a

river port run by State Enterprise of Thai Government with

the throughputs of over 1 million TEUs annually. There

are many Bangkok ports but Bangkok PAT is our Bangkok

base port where our FAS feeder vessels call direct twice

weekly. Bangkok PAT is the second most economical cost

port for us after Laem Chabang.

Laem Chabang (THLCH) – a deep sea port located

near the world beach resort of Pattaya, 120 KMs southeast

of Bangkok. Laem Chabang handles a throughputs of over

3 million TEUs annually and is now the main gateway port

of Thailand. Laem Chabang is the most economical cost

port for us where our FAS feeder vessels call direct twice

weekly.

Songkhla (THSGZ) – a sea port located in the lower

southern part of Thailand served via Singapore by

common feeder vessels.

Main ICDs which we use

Lat Krabang ICD (THLKR) – an inland container

depot located 30 KMs southeast of Bangkok and

served by daily rail/truck from Laem Chabang.

Currently, 10% of our import cargoes are destined for

Lat Krabang ICD, 99% of which moved by rail. Lat

Krabang ICD is the third most economical terminal for

us after Laem Chabang and Bangkok PAT. Lat Krabang

ICD handles a throughput of over million TEUs

annually.

Lat Krabang ICD is the Bangkok base terminal for

most shipping lines who have Transpacific and/or

Europe main line vessel direct call services to Laem

Chabang.

Other ICDs and Terminals in Thailand

SCT ICD – an inland container depot known as Siam

Container Terminal located near Lat Krabang ICD

and served by daily truck (only) from Laem Chabang

NHP ICD – an inland container depot known as NH

Prosperity located near Lat Krabang ICD and served

Bangkok BMT (THBMT) – known as Bangkok
