SEPTEMBER OPPORTUNITIES

North Chevy Chase Christian Church is going to go out and meet its Kensington neighbors on MONDAY, SEP-TEMBER 7, by hosting a booth at the Labor Day activi-ties in downtown Kensington. We will need AT LEAST 2 people for 2 hour shifts beginning with set-up at 8:30

a.m. until tear-down at 2:00 p.m.

YOU CAN GO TO THE LINK BELOW AND SIGN UP FOR A SHIFT OR TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PARADE! We need at least TWO PEOPLE (but more can sign up) to sign up for each shift in the

booth. We can take ALL who want to participate in the parade!

First, came the Lunch Bunch. Now comes the Supper Circle -- a group of NC4 family and friends who gather once a month for fun and fellowship while eating out at a local restaurant. Here are a few quick facts about the Supper Circle. Who will be in the Supper Circle? Any NC4 member or friend can join a Supper Circle. All you have to do is contact the co-ordinator to sign up. A Supper Circle will have at least six and no more than ten members. When will the Supper Circle meet? The circles will meet once

a month. Signups will be by the day of the week, and we will begin with two circles, one that meets on Wednesday and one that meets on Thursday. Where will the Supper Circle meet? That is up to the members of the circle. The coordi-nator will get the group started for the first meeting, and the group will make plans for future meetings. Will all of the meetings be at restaurants? Yes. The circles will meet in restaurants so that all members can enjoy the evening without the worries of hosting. Sounds good to me; how do I sign up? Diane Barlow is acting as Supper Circle coordina-tor as we get started. Contact Diane at 301-622-0237 or [email protected] or in person on Sundays.

Sign up by September 20, 2015, to get started. You will need to select the Wednesday Supper Circle or the Thursday Supper Circle when you sign up.

SUNDAY ~ SEPTEMBER 20 CONGREGATIONAL CONVERSATION

in HARLOW HALL after church

With a desire to be available and open to the Congre-gation for questions, concerns, and new ideas, the

Board INVITES YOU to a Congregational Conversation, Sunday, September

20. We offer you three questions to contemplate

for this conversation: 1. What would you identify as our congregation's deepest passion? 2. What would you say our congregation is "best at" in the world? 3. Do you believe this church has the human and financial resources to be a great church?

Grab your coffee and goodies and

come share this time together!
