JRU

BirthoftheMIRRI-ITJRU

The Joint Research Unit MIRRI-IT has beenfounded in 2017 for the implementation of theItaliannodeof theEuropeanMicrobialResourceResearchInfrastructure(MIRRI-ERIC).Current partners of the MIRRI-IT JRU: theUniversitiesofTurin,Perugia,ModenaandReggioEmilia, theUniversityHospitalSanMartinoGenoaandtheItalianNationalResearchCouncil.

MaingoaloftheMIRRI-ITJRU:-todevelopatightnetworkofItaliancollectionsofmicrobialresources.- to overcome fragmentation in availability of resources and services; to enhance the qualitymanagement system of the collections; to focus on needs and challenges of the stakeholdersinterestedinthebiotechnologicaltransferoftheseresources.
