This Sunday we’ll be encouraging parents as they bring their children before God and the church in a commitment to raise these kids to love God and the church. This is an im- portant step. It’s not a photo-op. It’s not a cute lile thing to do. It’s an act of commit- ment and leng go. Let’s be present to pray for and support these families. And our series, Cross Words, connues. This Sunday we will listen to Jesus’ word from the cross about his mother: “Woman, behold your son. Here is your mother.” This is an im- portant family word, but maybe not in the way you expect. Your service to our Lord and Savior and First Baptist Church is greatly appreciated.

ANNIVERSARY

Education / Outreach Ministry

We have discovered 40 people in their 30’s and 40’s or so in the 9:00am Classic Worship. So, we are offering a New Young and Median Adult Connect Group at 10:30 a.m. for YOU! Buddy and Janada Barnett will be the Teachers. We’re starting with Fellowship and a brief Bible Study/Devotional on Sundays in room 3025.

Come enjoy a loving, caring fellowship with good disci-pleship to grow in Christ and with each other. Come to a Wel-come Center and a guide will take you there and introduce you.

Thank you for participating in this helpful strategy of being a good steward. You might want to give your book to your adult children or another family and help mentor them.

A suggestion was made. If you want to donate your book to for the Jail ministry or Garage Church or our Mission Church in West Helena or other ministries, please bring them to the table behind the Welcome Center in the foyer.

Help everyone stay healthy. Since several have asked, we have hand sanitizer dispensers available at all welcome centers and several other areas around the church. We also disinfect high touch surfaces.

Love, Danny
