Finances of the College Overview of the figures – how we balance the
books Areas where we want to spend
Your finances Bills from College Making the books balance!
College Finances Income £15 million
Expenditure £14.8 million
116 Fellows, 826 students, 140 staff 25,000 supervision hours 23,000 maintenance hours 743 rooms and 19,300 hours cleaning them 157,474 meals
How we balance the books Every year we subsidise each student by
an average of £3,733 – just over £3million
For every £6 spent on Education we only receive £3.
We ‘balance the books’ with income from the Endowment – and from donations. This can be precarious.
