The role of education is to prepare students to become active, successful, and contributing members of the society.  In order to prepare students to play their role in the 21st century society we are part of, the following can be considered when deciding how education will look in our schools and classrooms.

1 . IN STR UC T ION S HOULD BE ST UDENT-CE NTE RED

It gives students opportunities to lead learning activities, participate more actively in discussions, design their own learning projects, explore topics that interest them, and generally contribute to the design of their own course of study.

2 . EDUCAT ION SHOU LD BE COLL ABORAT IVE

This one helps the students develop their interpersonal skills. It will help them to express and share their ideas to a group. It will develop and build their confidence.

3 . LEARNING SHOULD HAVE CONTEXT

The topics or discussions must be learned by the students. It must have content or purpose wherein, students can easily understand.

1. USE TECHNOLOGY COMPREHENSIVELY TO DEVELOP PROFICIENCY IN 21ST CENTURY SKILLSBy using the technology comprehensively , the students will be able to develop their skills and they will learn on how to use the technology appropriately.

2. USE OF TECHNOLOGY COMPREHENSIVELY TO SUPPORT INNOVATIVE TEACHING AND LEARNINGThe school must have enough and new technology that can cater the learning of the students. It will help them to develop their skills.

3. USE TECHNOLOGY COMPREHENSIVELY TO CREATE ROBUST EDUCATION SUPPORT SYSTEMTeachers and administrators must have training, tools and proficiency in 21st century skills. They must assess the skills of the students through new technology and gadgets.

IMPORTANT FUNCTIONS OF EDUCATIONAL

TECHNOLOGY1. Improvement of TeachingThe teacher must have to discuss the lessons in an active way, so that the interest of the students will be sustained. And also, they can easily get the ideas.

2. Analysis of the Teaching-Learning ProcessThe teacher must introduce the lesson slowly by slowly so that the students can understand easily.

3. Improvement of LearningIt analyses the process of learning. It facilitates the effective learning of the students.

4. Enhancing goals of EducationThe objectives must be attainable and clear. It will be able to guide the students on the topic they are going to discuss.

5. Training to Teachers The teachers must have various trainings so that they can have creative ways in delivering the lessons to the students and it will also help to sustain the interest of the students.

6. Development of CurriculumThe curriculum must be developed so that the students can have better g.

7. Development of Teaching-Learning MaterialsThe teaching-learning materials are important. They have to be with accordance to the environment in classroom.

8. Teaching-Learning StrategiesThe strategies must be effective in teaching learning process.

9. Development of Audio-Visual AidsThe audio-visual aids must be used properly and correctly.

10. Help in Overall ImprovementThis one helps the whole process of teaching learning.

11. Identification of Needs of the CommunityIt helps in providing fair education opportunities to people.
