Introduction• This book is the sequel to the first book, The Sisterhood of

the Traveling Pants.• In this book, four girls are entering their second summer

with the traveling pants. The pants are a pair of jeans that coincidentally fit all four girls, even though their bodies are shaped completely different.

• Throughout the summer, the girls share the jeans by mailing them to each other with a letter.

• All four girls, Lena, Bee, Carmen, and Tibby go through tragedies and some of the best experiences of their lives.

Thoughts on the book

• The Second Summer of the Sisterhood, was a wonderful and thrilling book to read. I honestly was not able to put down the book. Usually, sequels are not as good as the first book, but this book was definitely an exception.
