The beat manager would aim to attend a Parish Council meeting each year. There was agreement that the 101 service was not fit for purpose.

• It was noted that following correspondence received from the Borough Council,

taking over additional grass cutting responsibilities would not be feasible this year. However, it was resolved to increase the budgeted spend on grass cutting by £300.

• It was resolved to reject a proposal to increase the precept by 10% on 2018/19. • It was resolved to increase the precept to £21,699 in order to cover inflationary

increases, a reduction in the council tax support grant, increased grass cutting, and an increase in an earmarked provision for LED street light conversion. This would increase the precept per elector at Band D by 6.46% to £48.67 p.a.

• NALC newsletter on call for the end of the ‘toilet tax’. Norfolk ALC training schedule and NCC’s budget proposals (raised at the last meeting).

• King’s Lynn Shakespeare Festival 26-28th April 2019 • BCKLWN Anti-Social Behaviour Public Spaces Protection order (Control of Dogs).

It was resolved that there was no requirement to move into closed session on the grounds of confidentiality and the meeting continued in open session.

There being no other business the chair closed the meeting at 8.40 pm.
