First United Methodist Church Purpose: As believers in Christ as the Son of God, and the Bible as the inspired word of God, we: Glorify God through worship, Build strong relationships in the church family, Grow in the knowledge of the truth as revealed through Jesus Christ, Serve people as a reflection of the love of Jesus Christ, and Spread the Good News of the Gospel so that others may come to salvation through grace.

This Week’s Message: The Lord’s Prayer- God’s Will Be Done

Your will be done, on earth as in heaven- Since God is God, the Almighty One, We are called to obey Him, to do His will in our lives and in the life of His Church. Denying ourselves is not easy, but it is what we must do to obey God. Scripture: Psalm 24:1-10Next Week’s Message: The Lord’s Prayer- Our Daily Bread

Give us today our daily bread- God is ready and able to meet our needs. Often we mix up our needs with our wants. Our needs are usually much less then our wants. If we are doing our best, and if we all tithe, all of our needs could be met along with some of our needs. Scripture: Ephesians 3:14-21
