Staging isn’t always about bringing in new furniture, artwork, painting the walls, etc. It can often be as simple as removing some clutter, and moving furniture.
Once the changes have been made, don’t let your hard work and efforts be wasted by poor photography either! Ensure your home is being showcased by photos and video taken with professional equipment including wide angle lenses. Taking photos in one direction verses another can make all the difference as well.

This popular “Hillsview End” townhome is located on a quiet street in phase one of Hawthorne Village on the Park. This
Energy Star home was well appointed with maple hardwood stairs and floors on the ground level, stainless steel appliances including a chimney style hood. The selling price for this model in 2014 ranged from $414,000 to $450,500. Considering the location and upgrades found in this one, in our opinion, it was under priced and sold for less than it likely could have. The one variable we can’t be certain of is the motivation of the seller; perhaps they needed to sell quickly and the lower price was strategic. At the end of the day, it sold in just 3 days. This is a great indication that the market is still hot and there’s a strong demand for townhomes in our neighbourhood.

Market every Saturday during the winter months, ending March 21st.
Similar to the Milton Farmer’s Market, over 50 local vendors set up shop from 10AM to 3PM.
Browse through hundreds of items including local produce, meats and baked goods from local farms as well as hand crafted items for your home from local artisans.
