A word from our Developer’s Corner on Application Integration One of the keys to the widespread acceptance of the My-T-Soft Family of onscreen keyboards has been the vast library of code, examples, executables, and libraries avail-able in the IMG Developer’s Kit. Access to these resources allow application developers to quickly and easily integrate the required panels and access the utility and functionality of the My-T-Soft software. By eliminating the need for a physi-cal keyboard, new and existing applications can quickly be ported to touchscreen or pen based interfaces. When key-board input is required, My-T-Soft can be called up with the appropriate input panel for text or numerical input. The abil-ity to easily move, size, position, control, and select different configurationsatwillprovidesthenecessarycomponentsde-velopers need to create a comprehensive and seamless user interface.

The IMG Developer’s Kit has progressed in tandem with the soft-ware, primarily driven by requests and the requirements of our customers, by providing an API (Application Programming Inter-face) for popular development platforms. Along with the current .Net, Java, and other high-level tools such as Visual Basic and MS Access, there are lower level examples, and source code for stand-alone tools and Dynamic Link Libraries (DLLs). In addition to the source code, tools, other types of utilities, and examples, the Kit includes documentation, hints and comments, along with frequently asked questions. The IMG Developer’s Kit is included on the product disc, and available for download on IMG’s website in the Developer’s Corner.

Mac OS X SupportIMG is part of the Apple Developer program, and provides support for systems using Mac OS X version 10.2 and higher.
