MINISTERS TO THE HOMEBOUND WORKSHOP October 19, 2011 10:00 a.m. at Christ the King Parish: There will be a workshop for all those who bring the Eucharist to the homebound. All Eucharist Ministers and anyone else who would like to bring the Eucharist the homebound are invited to this workshop. The workshop will cover the spirituality of homebound ministry as well as a format that can be used when making a visit. We will also cover issues about the diocesan Protection of Children which includes vulnerable adults. FALLFEST 2011: Christ the King, Southaven, October 8 from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. Games for all ages, silent auction, basket raffles, fishing rodeo, entertainment, inflatables, dunk tank, cake walk, white elephant booth, Loteria, and delicious American and Hispanic food and desserts. LIFE CHAIN Life Chain is a peaceful, prayerful public witness of pro-life Americans standing for one hour of prayer for our nation and an end to abortion. Come join us and thousands across the nation as we pray for an end to abortion. We will stand facing Church Road in front of Christ the King on Sunday, October 2 from 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 pm.
