E safety tip

Children often don’t know what they’re signing up to when they join YouTube, Snapchat, WhatsApp or Instagram. The Children's Commissioner has drawn up some terms

and conditions in a child friendly format which is easier to understand.

For more information and examples visit www.childrenscommissioner.gov.uk

Rock Steady!

All the children from Reception to Year 6 have had a brilliant time on Tuesday taking part in Rock Steady workshops. A letter went home for

children to sign up for Rock and Pop Band lessons, giving them an opportuni-ty to learn guitar, keyboard, drums or vocals. The sessions are available to children from Reception to Year 6. A monthly subscription costs £31.25. If you would like to give your child this opportunity or would like to find out

more about Rocksteady you can contact them directly on 0845 094 1259 or email [email protected]/parents

Clubs for 2018!

There will a letter sent out in the new year with clubs for children to join. We encourage children to

get involved in extra-curricular activities at school. It can be very important in helping them to develop many working skills, people skills, and more….

Steel Pans On Wednesday 13th December Years 1 and 2

took part in steel pan workshops with Mr Baugh. The children had a wonderful time learning about how steel pans are made and had a go at playing

them too.

Football

Lower Farm has a football kit! With thanks to Mr Miller, the boys enjoyed playing the football match against Walsall Wood in their new kits. They played fantastically and

the score was 0-0.

Here are the Year 1 Lower Farm football team! They took part in a tournament and played 5 games against some very strong teams. They managed to win 2 games, draw 2 games and lose

1 game.

They were all amazing and worked well as a team, cheering each other on and congratulating each other on their goals. They all had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

Well done boys!

Dance Assembly Well done to Years 1&2 Cheer Leading club and years 3&4, and 5&6 Dance Clubs.

They performed an amazing assembly for the whole school to see. We can’t wait for the next performance!

Nativity!

Well done to our early years children who did a fantastic job when per-forming the

Nativity for parents, grandparents, carers and the rest of the school to see. Costumes were amazing so a big THANK YOU to parents for providing

them.

Merry Christmas everyone and a Happy New Year!
