God Gives Us His Words of Eternal Life

O come, let us adore him,

Christ the Lord.

Why do the nations rage, and the

Psalm 2:1

peoples plot in vain…?

“I led them with cords of kindness, with bands of love….”

The kings of the earth set them-

Psalm 2:2-3

selves, and the rules take counseltogether, against the LORD and against his Anointed, saying, “Let burst their bonds apart and cast away their cords from us…”

And we bring you good news that what God has promised to the fathers, this he has fulfilled to us their children by raising Jesus, as also it is written in the second Psalm, “You are my Son, today I

have begotten you.”

Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and you perish for his wrath is quickly kindled….

Jesus Christ, as the world’s true King.
