It's been a long wait! For those new to the TMGS series, welcome aboard! :3Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side: 2nd Season is the fourth in a series of datingsimulations games for girls produced by Konami. It's also the long-awaited sequel of the PS2 version - Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side: 2nd Kiss.

2nd Season, like the PS2 original, is seaside-themed. Definitely one of the unique aspects of this game. Hanegasaki High is located next to the beach, andyou'll find that most of the events in this game (the legend backstory, thegame art, etc) revolve around the ocean.

You'll play as a girl starting her school days at Hanegasaki High, where you'rethrust into a surprisingly varied dating pool. Konami has added two more"secret characters" into the mix to up the interest factor, and you'll find that this fantastic sequel holds many new quirks for exploration. The best part? It all takes place on a NDS, so you'll be able to poke/molest your datingprospects at your own leisure :)

If you've played this game before (whether on a PS2 or NDS), you'll definitelywant to try out 2nd Season. It's chock-full with lots of new CGs, extra scenes,extra love sequences, and of course, Skinship. And if you're new to thisawesome series, you'll certainly enjoy it as well! It might take a fewplaythroughs to get you used to the gameplay, but it's worth it! XD

Where to start? Here we go...

~ 2nd Season has expanded on where 2nd Kiss left off on Love Mode: You now getto walk home with a guy when a date has gone particularly well. Along the way,

you'll get to poke at him to net you a number of skinship points (more on thatin the Dating section)

~ Skinship has evolved greatly from 1st Love. Instead of just poking with yourstylus, you now get to use different methods of using it to have differentinteractions and trigger a separate set of reactions. Lovely :D

~ Unlike 2nd Kiss, checking in with Yuu no longer takes up an entire day. Thisdefinitely makes the whole bomb-defusing process a lot easier.

~ Bomb frequency also seems to have decreased significantly - you may find that certain characters don't bomb you once in a single game!

~ More endings have been added to the mix. Characters such as Saeki and Hariyacan have as many as 5 endings each!

~ Skinship for event CGs is much less complex. You no longer have to worry(much) about bad skinship with the guys, as most of the CGs now don't havenegative skinship points. (there are exceptions to this rule, however.)

~ Addition of more event CGs for most of the male characters. With moreunlockable goodies, who can resist?

~ The love panel has also been edited slightly in 2nd Season! It's a lot easierto read now, as compared to 1st Love. (more on that in the Skinship section)

~ And best of all: All the dialogue gets voiced this time round. Even that ofthe random classmates/date disturbers/extra people involved in events. Adefinite improvement!

If you're starting a fresh game, the first thing you'll be asked for is yourfamily name, followed by your given name.

Next, fill in your birthday, then pick your blood type. The blood type youpick will affect your horoscope reading on the internet.

Choose a room for yourself. Unlike TMGS: 1st Love, the room you pick does NOTaffect your starting parameters (more on that later). It just determines whichgirl you'll meet on your first day. The rooms appear in this order:

~ Onoda Chiyomi (the studious one)~ Mizushima Hisoka (the feminine one)~ Nishimoto Haruhi (the cheerful one)~ Todou Tatsuko (the sporty one)

Following this, you'll be asked to set up your EVS (Emotional Voice System).It's basically how the male characters will say your name in-game. The maingripe I have about the EVS is that it hasn't really improved much from 1st Love - most of the longer name combinations will still be drastically shortened.Awkward name sequences don't register either :( (Definitely where the PS2version wins out! You could have really weird names like Ohohohoho-san and theguys would still say it with a straight face XD )

The Legend of the Mermaid

“Why are you crying? Hey, are you a mermaid?”

And so, the youth and the maiden who met on the shore fell in love.

The maiden watched the calm sea, her eyes expressing what she wished to say in words.

She was a mermaid after all, and had lost her ability to speak after she took on the form of a human…

Heartless villagers expressed their hatred in violence towards this mermaid maiden, so she had no choice but to return to the sea.

In place of a goodbye, the two exchanged a kiss.

They believed that someday, the ocean would bring them together again.

After bidding farewell to the mermaid, day after day, the young man continued to scan the ocean horizons.

And one day, filled with determination in his heart, the youth left the island in search of his love.

He never returned.

And so tells the legend, the sad story of the mermaid –

The game opens with a narration of the Mermaid story, followed by a prettyCG with a half-concealed face of a young boy (Konami definitely needs to workon their suspense - it doesn't exactly take a genius to figure it out) whoseals a promise to the heroine with a kiss. Aww.

You're then brought to the present, and you run into Saeki Teru, the main dateable character, for the first time. Cue another pretty CG where you can poke at him a bit for kicks, but the moment's ruined when you find yourselfasking him for directions. He turns up in a waiter's uniform, and some not-too-friendly conversation later, you two endup parting ways.

When you finally reach Hanegasaki High, you run into Saeki once more, and he'sless than pleased to have someone who knows about where he works in the sameschool. In short, he tells you not to let anyone know about his status, andyou head on for the entrance ceremony.

You'll run into your first girl friend next (according to which room you choseat the beginning) and swap names and some information. Mosey on over to your

homeroom, and meet your (dateable) teacher, Wakaouji Takafumi! He'll introducehimself, and hands out a questionnaire which determines your...

The first three questions determine your parameters, and the last two affect whom you’ll have your accidental kiss with.

1) Why did you choose to come to this school?a. This school is famous for its academics.b. The uniform looks good.c. This school is famous for its sports.

3) What do you hope to focus on in your life as a student?g. A part-time job.h. Experience youth with club activities!i. Of course, to fall in love~

Here’s the part that gets a bit more complicated. There are 5 different parameter sets, each with different pros and cons. You might want to base your answers on which guy you want to get and which parameters are required for them.

Note that the accidental kiss does not happen immediately after you take the questionnaire - it occurs on the first of May.

Those who've played the PS2 version of GS should definitely be familiar withthis aspect of the game. The heroine can access different commands, which allow her to raise/decrease a multitude of parameters. These parameters affecthow fast a guy likes you (since different guys have different parameter requirements), as well as how certain events turn out (eg. exams)

If you do well in raising a parameter for a week (100% success rate), your guy/gal will compliment you on it.

The basic layout on the touch screen:

Sleeping reduces your Stress, but it also lowers the rest of your parameters.For the best effect, only sleep on weekends and public holidays, since sleeping on weekdays tends to lower your other parameters a lot more. Note that if your Stress rockets above 100, your character gets a fever and isincapacitated for a few weeks. The upside to this is that if a guy likes youenough, he's drop by to check in on you :)

Studying increases Intelligence, a bit of Arts and a tiny bit of Style. It decreases your Fitness and a bit of Charm. No effect on Social. SD characters who join you ( :) and above) : Saeki, Hikami, Wakaouji

Painting increases Arts, a bit of Style, and a tiny bit of Intelligence. It decreases Fitness and a bit of Social. No effect on Charm.SD characters who join you ( :) and above) : Saeki, Christopher

Reading Magazines increases Style, a bit of Charm and a little bit of Arts. It decreases a bit of Social and Intelligence. No effect on Fitness.SD characters who join you ( :) and above) : Saeki, Hariya, Amachi

On weekends, you can access the options, Call, Go Out, and Yuu. The Callcommand lets you call guys for dates/get a job. The Go Out command lets yougo out to do shopping, or leave the house for a date. Finally, visiting Yuu will is a simple task of approaching your window to ask him forinformation. You'll see 3 available optons:

- Check your current status with everyone you know (including bombs)- Check information on particular guys/girls (also how you get phone numbersand birthday dates registered on your calendar)- Skinship Lesson

The skinship lesson's pretty interesting - you get to try out differentskinship techniques on your underage male neighbour. Well, if Konamifinds it socailly acceptable, then it must be! XD

Looking through your wardrobe lets you experiment with different styles of clothes, and lets you set outfit combinations for easy access later. Youalso get to sell your older clothes and accessories for some quick cash.

Checking the internet regularly lets you unlock new date spots, read upon the latest movies and performances, consult your horoscope, and checkout Himeko's column for the newest trends.

The horoscope sections appear in this order:~ Study (affects... studying? lol)~ Leisure (affects playing with the girls, painting, reading mags, non-sports club activities, as well as Komori/Tarou commands)~ Sports (affects exercising, sports club activities)~ Love (affects grooming and success when calling for dates)

Note that a ":D" grants the activity a 95% success rate, whereas a "X("gives only a 5% success rate.

The calendar is a handy option when planning your dates, study times, etc.You can track the start of holidays and basically get a look at yourschedule ahead.

The email option lets you receive correspondence from your girl friends. You can also get frequent updates on clothing availabilty for the shops, as wellas view which jobs you can apply for.

Tap the DATA icon to save your game.

On the save screen, the options on the top read, "Save/Load/Delete"The options on the bottom read, "Restore/Title Menu/Return"

NOTE: CHOOSING "RESTORE" WILL DELETE ALL YOUR SAVE FILES, ALBUM PHOTOS, ANDENDINGS.

You have 21 save slots to fill, so knock yourself out :)

You periodically get exams during the school year, and your results are determined as follows:

Languages (Japanese/English) – 100% IntelligenceMathematics – 80% Intelligence, 20% SocialMultiple Choice (Social Studies) – 60% Style, 40% IntelligenceArt – 90% Art, 10% CharmHome Economics – 80% Social, 20% Fitness

If you're aiming to impress guys like Saeki, Hikami, Wakaouji-sensei or Amachiwith your brains, aim to get a good ranking and keep your parameters up when the exams draw near.

And if you're bordering in the single digits for your Intelligence parameter,be prepared for remedial sessions with Wakaouji-sensei for a week :|

+Sports Day+

Occurs each year on the second Saturday of every June.

Choose the first option to take part in the sports meet, and you'll haveto pick from a list of 3 events.

- "Borrow the Item" Race- Three-Legged Race - Bread Eating competition

When you win, your guy will get a nice boost in affection. If you wind up inlast place, the opposite will happen T_T

If you're playing the game for the first time, I strongly advise you to save.The first time I attempted the "Borrow the Item" race, it ended with disastrous results...

The Bread Eating competition's a great way of raising affection with a guy -provided you're confident in getting first place! After the race (regardlessof whatever position you finished with) you'll get a chance to offer yourguy a piece of the bread you brought back with you. Good hygiene aside, winning first place and sharing your bread means you'll get a double affectionboost. Yum!

After the main sporting events, the day winds up with a folk dance. You'll get to interact with 3 guys at the highest affection for you.

+School Trip+

Takes place in your second year, from the 17th to the 22th of September.

If the guy you're going for likes you enough, he'll automatically ask you topair up with him to explore Kyoto. If he doesn't, you'll have to ask him yourself. And if you end up getting rejected (boo) you'll pair up with your gal pal.

On the 4th day/night, you'll be approached by your closest gal pal ** and she'll invite you over to the boys' room for a pillow fight mini-game.

You'll be teaming up with your guy against her and her guy, so be preparedfor a lot of fun! Whether you win or not doesn't really matter, since arandom teacher ends up barging in at the end of it. You get to choose 1 of 3

hiding spots:

If you're lucky enough, you'll end up squished next to your guy. Some cute blushing later, you'll return to your rooms.

Note that the hiding spots are random, so you could end up being squished up next to your pal's guy, or your gal pal herself (which would be justweird, no?)

** Does not apply if said pal is on rival mode, or if you haven't met the dudeshe fancies in-game.

+School Culture Festival+

You might notice that every November, a special command replaces that of theusual "club" command. This option lets you prepare for the School CultureFestival, in which you take part in the first 2 years by managing a stall or staging a performance.

In the third year, you'll get to act in a school play with the guy closestto you, which leads to a special cutscene and a huge boost of affection.

If you don't prepare actively enough (ie. you skiver, tsk!), your stall/performance will fail. In the case of the third year, your guy will go on stagewhile you get stuck manning the props :|

If you're not in a club, the culture festival command will raise all of yourparameters. If you're in one, choosing to do the command will

If you're in a sports club, you'll get the school play option in the 3rd yearautomatically. If you're in a non-sports club, you need to choose the 2nd option when prompted.

+School Break+

3 School breaks a year - One in spring, summer, and winter. During this time,

The 3rd option lets you see what the others want for their future, so it mightbe useful to plan a similar route to your guy for a happy ending.

Whichever you end up choosing, Wakaouji-sensei will give you an evaluation ofyour progress so far If he's smiling, it probably means you'll have a highchance of getting into the course you want. If he isn't, you need to work onyour parameters more.

+Club Camp+

Every summer, you will have to take part in the annual club camp (unlessyou're club-less, of course.) For the camp to be successful, you'll need to have practiced the activity enough, or it'll be a failure.

If you fail miserably in it, the guy/girl in the same club as you will have a decrease in affection.

Another part of the club camp is the cooking! On one of the days, you'll begiven an option to prepare food for the entire camp. The results depend whollyon your social parameter, so make sure you come prepared!

First year- CHIN suru curry (required Social: 0)- Kodawari no curry (required Social: 60)- Puu Paa Pon curry (required Social: 80)

Second year- Yakitori (required Social: 0)- Special Oyako Don (required Social: 60)- Pii Gai Yaato Sai (required Social: 80)

+Valentine’s Day+

Ah, the joys of youth! On the 13th of February, you'll get the option of going out to buy chocolate after school. You'll see:

- Buy 10 Rich Chocolate- Buy 1 Rich Chocolate- Go Home

You can buy both the 10 Rich and the 1 rich if you're feeling particularly wealthy :)

Once you get home, choose the first option to make some yummy homemade chocolate for your man!

[Commence Valentine Chocolate mini-game]

It's exactly the same as the one in 1st Love, so those who've played it beforeshould get a grasp on this one pretty quickly. Tips for the choco-newbies:

~ Don't stir out of the bowl~ Don't intersect your stir-lines~ Stir slowly (not too slowly though)~ Memorize the Kanji for Right/Left

If you give your homemade chocolate to the guy you're after, you'll get a highboost in affection. If he's in tokimeki state and you give him the 1 Rich (giri) chocolate, his affection will go down instead.

If your Social is above 80, 100, and 120 for the 3 years, you get an allowanceof 2 mistakes to make your perfect Valentine chocolate.

If your Social is dismal (ie. below 50, 70 and 90), you can't afford to make any mistakes, and chances of you making poisonous goo is much higher :o

Your stress goes up too, if you take too many tries in getting your V-day chocsjust right. By the fourth try (and your last), your stress would have gone up by a whopping 12.

When you get to school after Yuu's incessant reminders, be sure to givethe right chocolates to the right guy! Don't let all your efforts go downthe drain...

If you change your mind and want to hoard the chocolate to yourself, simplychoose the bottom option when the list of guys pops up. When you reach home,you can either eat the chocolate yourself or offer some to Yuu (second option)

+White Day+

It's an occasion exclusive to Japan, though some other neighbouring countrieshave recently taken to celebrating it as well. White Day is basically a daywhere the guys return the favour to the girls by giving them gifts as a thankyou for the chocolates they receive on V-day. Also a day where most confessions take place (though not in this game, unfortunately)

You'll be approached by the guys who you gave chocolates to on Valentines day.If they like you enough, they even give you a little something in return. XD

Give chocolates to guys who're already at :) and above on V-Day. You're guaranteed a nice parameter-boosting gift in return.

+Birthdays+

Another way for you to increase affection in this game. To find out when the guys' birthdays are, you'll have to visit Yuu and check out their particulars to register their birthdays on your calendar.

You don't have to worry about remembering them all, since the game reminds

you the day before to prompt you on whether you would like to buy him a present. Choose the first option to do so, and take your pick from there.

And yay! You can buy gifts for the girls in this game :3

+Christmas+

Make sure you have something suitable to wear, like a dress. on the 24th of December, you'll be prompted to go and buy a present for the present exchange at the party. Buy the right gift for your guy to get a nice boost.

You'll be approached by the three guys at the highest affection with you (N/Aif they're at neutral or lower) who'll compliment you on your dress if you're wearing one.

+New Year+

Happy New Year! You'll be greeted by Yuu and receive a bunch of new year cards from anyone who doesn't hate you.

If the guy you're after likes you enough, he'll call you and invite you to theshrine. If he doesn't, you'll have to call him instead. AND if all that fails, you'll end up going with Yuu! And no, you can't go with a girl.

If you have a furisode, wear it! Your guy will compliment you on it and gain quite a bit of affection.

Once you reach the shrine, it turns out to be pretty crowded. If the dude likesyou enough, he'll hold your hand so you don't get lost in the busy street.

Your first stop is a quick prayer, and you get to pick from:

If you choose love, the guy you’ve picked afterward will have a boost in affection.If you choose health, your stress will fall by 15.If you choose studies, your Intelligence will increase by 15.

After doing so, you can choose to extend the outing by having your fortune told (a.k.a omikuji)

Some changes here from the original, so I'll just list out the omikuji andtheir effects:

If you're in your third year and the guy you're going for is already maxedout, affection-wise, it's a good idea to pick either Health or Studies toease your parameters along.

After school, you’ll sometimes run into guys/girls, and you can choose to interact with them.

Upon sighting them, you’ll have the options

- Ask him/her to walk home together- Ask him/her to go to a café for a chat - Go home by yourself

You can tap "NICKNAME" at the bottom of the touch screen to change how you address your target. Be careful, if you address them too familiarly they’ll be angry ><

If he/she likes you a fair bit, they’ll accept your invitations to walk home or go to the café more often!

Also, you’ll sometimes be approached, instead of you approaching them. When they do this, they’ll definitely accept your invitation to walk home together or go snacking.

Occurrences after school are random! They’re also a good judge of how close you are to a certain guy/girl, because it’s easy to tell when their speech pattern changes towards you over time.

Here are the required number of times you have to work on your club activity (successfully) for the wins:First match – 200 timesSecond match – 210 timesThird match – 220 timesQuarterfinals – 260 timesSemifinals – 290 timesFinals – 320 times

You can also be a club master at the end of your school term by taking part in your activity many, many, many times. There’ll be a special graduation ceremony for you, and the affection with the guy you’re after will go up loads :D To be a club master for a sports club, you’ll need to have taken part successfully 320 times. To be a club master for a non-sports club, the required number is 400 times.

Your success in your club activity can be key in determining your ending, so don’t slack off too much!

You can get a part-time job, or arubaito, by checking your emails for job updates and calling them to get the job. To quit, you’ll have to call your job master. Note that you can’t work again at the same place after you’ve quit! Also, Sangosho Café is an exception - you can get the job by merely replying to the email (first option, folks).

As mentioned before, the currency of this game is measured in Rich. You'll need rich to buy gifts for your guys, like presents and chocolates. You'llalso need Rich to buy yourself a collection of clothes to suit your dating needs.

You start the game with a mere 100 Rich.

You get 10 Rich per month as allowance.

You get 60 Rich at the beginning of each year (1st of January) as a tokenform your family.

You get 2 Rich every time you go to work.

Try to save up as much as possible for a Yukata, Furisode and a dress to wear

to the Christmas party at the end of the year. The guys will get an affectionboost if you wear the yukata and the furisode to the Fireworks festival and the New Year's shrine respectively.

You'll probably find yourself stretched a little tight for the first year, sospend wisely! You'll have loads to splurge on in the future.

Note: If you're broke (like, 0 rich broke), you won't be able to buy anypresents for guys/girls.

A quick fix for cash - simply sell some of your clothes.

Ah, the essence of a girl's game :D Like the original, 1st Love provides a fun experience of picking out outfits to impress your guys, complete with accessories and clothes for special occasions.

On weekends/public holidays, you get the option of going out to shop. Fromthere, you get to visit 2 different shops and shop as much as your coffers allow.

Most of the categories of clothes are pretty self-explanatory, so I'll justcover those which may be a little confusing.

Allower: One piece outfitsFurisode: Traditional Japanese Kimono worn by young women, wear to the ShrineYukata: Worn to the Fireworks festival

Four main styles of clothing, as usual - Pure, Sporty, Elegant, and Sexy. Different guys like different styles, so dress accordingly. There is a 5thstyle - DANGER. You get that if you combine 3 different styles in one outfit.It'll freak your guy out on dates, which is always amusing, no?

Never wear the same outfit combination for 2 dates in a row with the same guy,he won't like it. For the fashion-concious like Saeki, Hariya and Amachi, you can check out GORO's column for trendy colours and clothes to wear to impress them.

Also, dress to suit the occasion. Don't go out without a jacket/scarf/mittensin the winter, and try to stick to longer sleeves in the early spring/late

autumn. If you dress inappropriately, your guy won't be too happy.

The guys will also give you a wearable accessory when they like you enough,so if you wear it out on dates with them they'll be happier. :)

Your shopping card can grant you up to 50% off on clothes, which is a definiteplus! Boutique Jess has a mega sale on the 23rd of December, and combined withyour handy 50% discount, you only spend 97 Rich on a single furisode, usuallypriced at 300 Rich!

2nd Season has also added a few new clothes designs into the mix - most of them actually look pretty good!

For every 3 Rich you spend, you get one stamp on your shopping card.

After your trip, you'll occasionally run into someone you know for a short event.

If you bought something "uncool", Himeko will ambush you at the end of your spree and throw a fit (It's a funny sort of fit)

Just some general guidelines:

~ Make sure you have the guy's phone number before you call. (Check in withYuu first!)

~ SAVE before giving him a call. There's always a chance he could reject you/be busy, and you don't want to waste one weekend on this!

~ SAVE before going, because you could give the wrong answer, so screw up on the skinship.

~ On a typical date, you'll have three options to choose from - one good, oneneutral, and one bad. (There are exceptions. "Very good" exists for placeshe loves, and "very bad" for places he hates.)

~ Make sure you have PROPER clothes to wear for the date. If you're going tosomewhere involving swimming, get a nice swimsuit first. Don't go in yourschool suit, because that's just weird :3 If it's cold out, get a jacket. Ora scarf. Try not use the default clothing.

~ If you're in the building blocks period of the relationship, ask to to datespots he loves. Chances are he'll be happier, you can poke at him for more skinship, and you get better options and responses.

~ If you want him to comment on your brilliant style, wear trendy clothes/accessories/colours as mentioned on Himeko's site. Wear the accessory he gives you for an added boost. Don't wear the same outfit two dates in a row.

~ Don't ask to date him at the same place twice in a row. Variety, people.

~ If you're going to do some man-juggling and have 2 dates within a month ofeach other at 2 different spots, be prepared when the game asks you wherethe location is before the date. Summon your pet elephant and get those memory banks working!

~ Try not to ditch the guy, even if your stress is obscenely high.

~ If you insist on dragging your guy to a place he hates, don't be surprisedwhen there isn't a "good" option to choose from.

~ Don't waste your calls by asking your guy out on a day where he has to work/go for his club activity. Unless you're just defusing a bomb, which is fine :)

~ Once his affection hits :D, he's start asking you out on dates, so you canease up calling him on weekends. This can happen quite often (once every twoweeks kind of often) so make sure you keep your stress down and bombs under control!

~ When he likes you enough, he'll ask if you would like to extend the date. Choose the first option to do so.

~ To get invited on a double date, your gal pal must like you, and you must havemet her guy.

~ When the guy you're dating is in tokimeki state and you've already dated himtwice at a location, bringing him there a third time will allow you to accessa more intimate conversation (of sorts) if you choose the right answer. If he'sat :D or lower, the conversation will most likely fail.

~ On the third date at a given location where he's at :D and above, choosing the"special" option (that would typically get you a negative reaction" will not letyou have skinship with him.

If you gave the wrong answer on a date, you'll find that the guy sometimes won't ask to extend the date with you. Don't fret though, if he likes you enough, he'll give you a call on your way back to apologize.

If you've done particularly well on a date in terms of giving the right answer and getting loads of skinship points, the guy will send you a text messageafter he walks you home.

These text messages raise his friendship and affection, so you should always tryto get one. There are different kinds of text messages he can send as well, each depending on his current affection and how well you did.

//Love Mode// [lvmd]

A welcome addition to 2nd Season, for sure. Love Mode is an amusing game sequence that can be activated after a date when a guy walks you home. It appears to be activated randomly after a date provided that:

~ the guy has relatively high affection for you~ you agree to extend the date when he asks~ you picked the right answer on the date~ the place you had the date at was not the beach, fireworks festival, nightparade, momiji, skiing or at his house

Love Mode involves the guy walking by your side as he escorts you back home.On the left screen, you'll notice a small chibified face on the top left-handcorner. Also, there'll be a row of ten hearts on the bottom of the screen.

To begin Love mode, simply tap anywhere on the touch screen after the dialogue box disappears. You might see two or three heart icons popping out at once. You're supposed to poke ONLY at the red/pink hearts. They might be moving about sometimes, but a quick poke in the general vicinity should do.

You'll notice that the row of hearts on the left screen gradually diminishingas you go along. The blushing meter should also be rising gradually if you'redoing it right. Once his blushing meter is filled enough, you'll unlock parttwo of love mode (at night), where basically the same stuff happens, onlywith faster-moving hearts and more blushing.

Once you get your guy to full blushing mode (red, with XD), you'll unlocka THIRD part of Love Mode, where it's a free-for-all pokefest! If you poke/rubat him continuously, he'll eventually interrupt your actions and you'llbe left facing a very hormonally-frustrated guy. The awkward conversationsthat follow are hilarious :D

Of course, another option is to NOT poke at him (much) in the third partof Love Mode. Just wait unitl the hearts run out and try to control youself (in my case, I usually just grit my teeth and tuck my stylus away) and you'll find yourself having a short discussion with the guy. Two options here, and both of them are acceptable.

Why would anyone want the latter version? Well, abusing the former too often can lead to a drop in affection with your guy. So while the first option's definitely much funnier, you'll want to use it in moderation (besides, the convos you can get repeat after a while).

Some general guidelines:

~ Don't poke at the blue hearts. It'll lower the blushing meter.~ Don't press and hold your stylus on the screen when poking at hearts, it'll lead to a decrease in the blushing meter.

Love Mode ends when the row of hearts runs out (either by a time lapse orby some poking mistakes) and your guy will simply drop you off at your house.

It also gets easier to max out the blushing meter the more times you'vecompleted Love Mode.

Onward!

//Date Disturbers// [dtdb]

When you just arrive at a date spot, there's a chance that you'll run into arandom guy who'll try to pick you up/sell you stuff. Not to worry, your knight in shining armour is well on his way!

There are 3 possible dudes who'll appear.

1) The blond guy. He generally turns up in the Park and the Seaside area.

2) The pesky salesman. You'll find him hanging out in the City and Station area.

3) The surfing dude. Surfing dude, now with a complete tan, can be found at the beach only.

Blond dude has more lines in this game now - he's actually one of the keycharacters in Tarou's route! Maybe he'll be dateable in TMGS3? XD

If you run into a date disturber, it's actually pretty good for raising theaffections of your guy. Just keep poking away at him to get some convenientskinship points. Your guy won't comment on your clothes if you run into oneon your date though.

//Best Friends// [bffl]

Another DS-exclusive feature in the TMGS series! :3

I found the formula for activating the event similar to the one in 1st Love,

so here we go:

To first activate this event, you must first have 2 fellows at tokimeki/grinning/smiling state with you. Within the span of 8 days, you will need to have 2 dates with the guy you plan to reject at the chapel. To achieve this, simply arrange the dates on consecutive weekends, or line them up when you have several holidays in a row. Try to do this as early as you can manage, since getting a best friend confession is fairly tricky.

The BF event can be activated even if you go on dates with certain CG events, but be careful not to activate Love Mode on the second date.

Once you've dated the guy you don't want as your BF twice in 8 days, your other guy will develop ESP of some sort and intercept you two at the endof the second date. Afterwards, you'll get a call from the guy and you caneither:

~ Explain the misunderstanding~ I just want to be friends...

Pick the first to avoid activating the BF event (if you'r aiming for Ending3), and the second if you want to go through with it and make him your BF.

From this point, Your BF's affection will drop back to :). You should focusnow on filling his tokimeki panel completely and unlocking all possible BFconvo topics with him. If you're aiming for Ending 4, make sure you don'tneglect your other guy while doing so.

Once the BF event's activated, you'll find a whole new list of BF-onlyconversation topics unlocked (some of them are really quite amusing) and that the way he greets you will be quite different as well. Unrequited love'salways entertaining, I guess :3

On the Tokimeki panel, your BF will be giving you a thumbs up with a tinyspeech balloon next to his face reading, "Best Friend".

Your BF will not ask you out on dates, so you'll have to do all the asking.

After dates, you simply have to pick the first option to extend the dateand have a conversation at the beach (No more Love Mode for you!)

If you want to get some practice in before you go off randomly rubbing someguy (lol), pay a quick visit to Yuu and choose the third option to have himteach you the basics. Hmmm... what were the basics again? ><

The tokimeki panel in 2nd Season's slightly different from the one in 1st love.For one, the love and friendship meters no longer sit on opposite sides ofthe heart. The friendship meter is represented by the rounded portion, and thelove meter is measured by the horizontal portion.

At :(/X(, the colour of the meter is purple.At :|, the colour of the meter is green.At :), the colour of the meter is yellow.At :D, the colour of the meter is red.At *'-'*, the colour of the meter is pink.When the love and friendship meters both max out, the heart pulsates!

(No pulsating heart for the girls, obviously)

If you accumulate enough skinship with the guys over a number of games, theguys on the panel can be seen with crowns on their head. 3 crowns are available: The Normal Crown, The Fancy Crown, and The Royal Crown.

If you've already gotten a Royal Crown, tap on his face on the right to achieve a sparkling effect. His Love on the panel will increase on its ownwithout you having to date the guy (sadly, this effect stops once you turn offyour DS. ><)

//Bombs// [bmbs]

For those unfamiliar with the concept, bombs appear when you've been neglectinga guy. To defuse them, you have to give them a call and ask them for a date. If you don't defuse them, they eventually explode, resulting in a 40%decrease in everyone's affections towards you (that's a LOT).

If the guy rejects your offer of a date, not to worry - the bomb gets defusedanyway.

It's better if you don't stand the bombing guy up on the date, since he's twiceas likely to bomb you straight after again. Instead, go on the date and givethem all the right answers, which should delay the next bomb's appearance.

Note that even guys at smiling state can bomb you. Wakaouji, Masaki, Akagi, Tarou, Komori and the girls will not bomb you.

You can also get multiple bombs at one time, so be careful. Knowing less guyswould make it a little easier.

You know you're being bombed when:

~ Yuu knocks calls you over to the window in the afternoon and asks if you'vebeen ignoring a guy lately.~ You run into a guy after school, and the only thing he says is "......"~ After a date (with someone else), you get a call from the guy who's bombing you.

You know when a bomb has exploded when:~ You hear an explosion SFX on your command screen.~ You see an "explosion" pic next to the guy's icon~ After a date with your guy and he sends you home, you find another guywaiting there already.

Once a bomb has exploded for a guy, he won't bomb you again for the rest of the game.

And yes, you can still get a confession if your bomb explodes. You're going tohave to work extra hard to win back all the affection though.

When you get your first bomb in the game, Himeko will confront you and offer some advice.

//Rival Mode// [rivl]

As you already know, there are 4 girls you can befriend in this game. Each ofthem is crushing on a particular guy, so if their guy ends up showing an interest in you, it's all out war.

Rival mode (Or VS mode) can be triggered by having the guy at a higher affectionlevel than the girl (meaning if she's at :), he has to be :D or higher)

You'll usually be confronted by the girl at a separate venue, and she'll declareher feelings for the guy and ask you to back off. You can either deny yourfeelings for the guy (first option) or accept your fate (second option).

If you chose the first option, she'll continue to play with you and things return to normal. HOWEVER, if you continue to date the guy, she'll basicallycut off all ties with you, and you can no longer interact with her for the restof the game. Also, the affection of the guy involved will drop slightly.

If you chose the second option, it's an all-out war. Her status on the tokimeki panel will drop all the way down to :(; she'll stop emailing you,sending you new year cards, and ignore you when you attempt to do commands withher. Note that your stress goes up threefold when she's yor rival and insist on doing activities with her. This goes for jobs, too. If you find your stress going up too fast at work, you should probably get a new job.

If you want to win your guy, you have 2 options. One is to ignore her completely. Don't do any commands with her, period. The second and moretedious approach is to play with her constantly, until she decides to be thebigger person and give the guy up to you. She'll need to be at Tokimeki statefor this to happen.

Of course, chances are that if you play with her half-heartedly she'llsteal the guy from you. This will happen in the third year, where the pairapproach you and (not so subtly) announce that they're dating. If yourguy was at blushing state before, he'll drop back to :), and all yourefforts go down the drain...

Note that even if you don't play with her, she can steal your guy! It happens if the guy involved isn't at tokimeki state by the 3rd year. If hewas at :D before, he'll quite likely drop to X( at the end of it all.

When on VS mode, she won't invite you to the pillow fight, and she'll plan a hostile ambush when you're about to give chocolates to her guy.

//Endings// [endn]

Alright, here's where the tricky part begins!

Saeki, Shiba, Hikami, Hariya, Christopher, Amachi, Wakaouji and Masaki have5 possible endings.

Tarou, Komori, Akagi and the girls (inc Himeko) have 1 possible ending only.

Yuu has 2 endings (once again, wtf)

For the guys, Endings 1-3 mirror those in the PS2 version.

Ending 1 ~ Have your lone guy at Tokimeki state, fulfill all his parameters,but don't share your accidental kiss with him.

Ending 2 ~ Have your lone guy at Tokimeki state, fulfill all his parameters,share your accidental kiss with him.

Ending 3 ~ Have 2 guys at Tokimeki state (one of which you accidentally kissed)and fulfill parameters and date requirements for both of them. Do NOT activatebest friend event. The first guy who confesses will be the one you didn't kiss. Reject him. Then head over to the beach for your second guy, and accept.

Endings 4 & 5 are the DS-exclusive "Best Friend" confessions.

Ending 4 ~ Activate Best Friend Event. Juggle dating both guys and fulfillparameter requirements for both. You'll end up with your Best Friend Love Confession. (Also make sure you've unlocked all his BF conversation topics)

Ending 5 ~ Activate Best Friend event. Ditch your regular guy for your BestFriend, and concentrate all your efforts on him. You'll get a regular BestFriend ending here.

If you have a best friend and you get his Tokimeki Panel maxed out by graduation, you'll automatically get his ending without seeing your regular

Raise all your stats so you can share the top rankings with him. Maybe even beat his ranking by your second year :) He’ll congratulate you if you do!

Do activities with him like studying, painting, exercising, and reading magazines.

Always walk home with him/ invite him to a café if you run into him after school. He’s more likely to agree if he’s in smiling state, though…

Date him often at the beginning of the game to make him go into :D state. After that, he’ll soon be asking you out every other week so you don’t have to again.

Always make him homemade Valentine chocolate (not the poisoned kind, either) too boost his affection for you! He gives you cookies and stuff in return on White day. You can get closer to him by joining the Baseball Club by being their manager. How one's fitness increases by washing team jerseys is a little puzzling, though. :|

You can also get to do activities with him by choosing the Exercise command (he'll join you at :) and above. )

Don't get kicked out of the Baseball Club at all costs! Remember, he joins in during the third year, so be a little patient. He'll be turning up for all the matches if you play your cards right for the first two years, so make sure you use the club command enough so your team doesn't lose too badly...

Always walk home with him/ invite him to a café if you run into him after school.

Date him often until he moves into :D state. After that, the dude will just ask you out on dates every other week, so you don't ahve to worry much about calling him so often.

Always make him good homemade Valentine chocolate! He's sweet when he blushes. :) He'll also return the favour on White Day if he likes you enough.

Accept his dates whenever you can! When given the option to extend dates, always pick the first option to learn more about his likes and dislikes, etc. You can also get his "almost confession" after the topic about love, and unlock a separate conversation about the kiss (only if you had it with him, of course) after that. 1. Go shopping 5 times. (You don't have to buy anything, which makes the storeowners kind of crabby. Even more so when you do it for what - a million times in this game? lol)

2. Meet Akagi on your way back from school. It's raining. He offers you an umbrella to share, so pick the first option to accept.

3. After meeting him, shop for 7 more times.

4. On the bus, you'll be confronted with the option to give up your seat to anelderly person. Choose the first option, and an impressed Akagi-pyon willtry to chat you up! Hoho.

5. Go shopping 12 more times.

6. When you choose to go shopping again (13), you'll feel hungry afterwards and pop by to "Winning Burger" (GS1's version of MCDs) to get a teriyaki burger. Surprise! Akagi's there and pulls some smooth moves in finally

introducing himself.

7. 12 more shopping trips. (11 when you count the previous I suppose)

8. After school, you meet Akagi being all suave at the gates. Turns out he'shere with some of his friends. Due to Hikami's overwhelming welcome, you findout he's actually in the Student Council... yay, an overachiever. Pick thefirst option to say that you're glad he's here. **NOTE: YOU MUST NOT BE INTHE STUDENT COUNCIL IF YOU WANT THIS EVENT TO OCCUR**

9. After you hit 50 trips in total, just sit back until September, 3rd year.

10. Akagi comes to your school again, this time to ask you for a date to a SUPER CHARGER concert. Pick the first option. NOTE: this boy is not programmed to recognize your club activities on weekends, like other Hanegaku guys.

11. Go to the concert (automatic.) Meet blonde bugger, and run away in a panic,dropping your ticket in the process. This is where the route splits - Isuggest the first if you want to get his extra CG. When prompted, tap thescreen with your stylus 3 times to pick it off the floor, and join Akagi in the Event Hall. If you're shooting for the regular route, simply use the d-pador the L button to skip the skinship option. Either way, some sort of misunderstanding arises, and it all starts to spiral downwards...

12. He'll reappear again at your school 2 weeks later to explain the situation.The message doesn't really get through...

13. On the 20th of February (3rd year) , you'll take shelter with him once more. He explains it fully this time.

14. You're done! Confession time.

When I first heard Konami was adding not one, but TWO new secret characters to2nd Season, I was pretty psyched. In fact, I was so excited that I decided I'd go for Majima Tarou first. I mean, he had the looks and everything. He couldprobably pass for Saeki's estranged cousin. And he plays the cello!

... And then I got to the mid-game...

Majima Tarou must be Part One of Konami's take on realism. Majima Tarou is, for lack of a better word, a player. (Actually, I have many better words. ButI guess they wouldn't make it pass the censors :|) He's one year older than the heroine in Hanegasaki High, and at first, he seems like a really nice guy.But as time goes by, it becomes apparent that he's just the sort of uncaringdude that strings girls along. The worst part is, the heroine actually goesalong with it! Arrrgh.

If my description of Tarou discourages you in any way, uhh... he's hot? His voice isn't bad too, when he isn't being insulting.

+++WHAT TO DO+++

THE ROAD TO A PAINFUL RELATIONSHIP WITH MAJIMA TAROU

1. Make sure your Charm parameter is 30 or above by the 28th of February in yourfirst year to trigger his "Podium" event CG on graduation day. Pick the firstoption, [I never thought that!]

2. Meet Tarou in the gardens when your Charm hits 140. This event can only betriggered from the 7th of May to the end of January in your second year. Pickthe first option, [I'm sorry, I misunderstood......] when confronting Tarouafter he not so kindly breaks it off with a girl.

3. Run into Tarou in the corridor when your Charm increases to 160. You'll have a brief chat with him on the roof about the lighthouse legend before it gets cut off by the bell ringing. He asks you for a date; pick the first option,[But, I'm not really your type] to accept.

4. The following weekend, you'll automatically meet him at the Forest Park foryour much-awaited date. He tells you not to address him formally with the "-senpai" honorific, and is henceforth referred to as Tarou-kun. :|

5. From here on out, it's a pretty long wait until the next event (hisgraduation day at the end of your second year). Basically, you discover histrue colours when he unceremoniously dumps you, saying that it was just a game for him. Pick the first option, [This isn't like Tarou-kun] to hang ondoggedly to that doomed relationship. Sigh. He then tells you that if you'restill obsessed with him, you can come to work at Coffee House ALUCARD (a la

1st Love) where he hangs out.

6. This is when the Majima Tarou command button appears (it's in green, wherethe call command should be). It can only be accessed on weekdays, and involvesyou serving tea while Tarou and his girlfriends watch on. Your stress isgoing to skyrocket whenever you use this command - it can go up by 2 pointsevery time you work there. If you already have a "regular" job, you shouldprobably quit ASAP and clear up your schedule to get the Tarou commands overwith. Besides, you'll get paid for working at ALUCARD.

7. The game gets pretty single-tracked from here onwards. Just keep using theTarou command on weekdays, and for the 1st, 20th, 40th, 60th, 80th, 100th,and 120th times, you get a short event that follows where Tarou demonstrateshis impressive gentlemanly chivlary (I'm being sarcastic here, in case youcouldn't tell.)

8. On the 150th time you use the command, Tarou will ask you on another date on the walk home. He even specifically asks you to wear something sexy (morefitting for his edgy university student status, no doubt) Pick the first option, [I'll try my best] to accept.

9. You get to choose what to wear to the date, though it doesn't really affectthe outcome. In my case, I took the trouble to match a sporty jacket, a pureshirt and a sexy skirt (he did say dress sexily... right? XD ) Anyway, when you reach the Forest Park, a guy you might recognize as the blond date disturberturns up and hits on you. Tarou soon appears and chases him away, and subsequently loses his temper at you for dressing the way you did (hypocrite much? lol)

10. On the 160th time working at ALUCARD, Tarou will ask you to leave work early and go with him to the beach. There, he asks you if you think he's abad person, but before you can give him an answer, he answers his own questiona throws a melodramatic fit.

11. On the 170th time at ALUCARD, Tarou gets into a tiff with his girlfriendsat the café and you get dragged into the crossfire. Cue event CG where Tarouleans in and apologizes. He also refers to you as his "most precious person".

Needless to say, his girlfriends don't take to this every well. He walks youhome after the whole fiasco and asks for another date (Telling you to wearwhatever you want this time). First option to agree.

12. The date happens on the next immediate weekend, and you won't get topick what you wear. This is where the story can branch two ways - you can either dump this guy or be spineless. Hmmm. Both ways will get you the same ending, so take your pick.

At the Forest Park, you'll run into the blond date disturber once more, and he'll tell you about Tarou's bad reputation. For the first route, pick thefirst option, [You've gone to far......] to leave him in the dust. Pick thesecond option, [I still believe in Tarou] to have him have second thoughtsand leave _you_ in the dust.

13. Almost there! You'll find that after this event, the Tarou/ALUCARD commandchanges to something fairly strange - some random old man will have taken Tarou's place. XD Not that I'm complaining, btw. Use the command after the 4thof November to trigger Tarou's final event. If you took the first route, Tarouappears at ALUCARD and tries to explain himself. Choose the first option,[......] to proceed. If you picked the second route, you'll think you saw Taroupass by the café. Choose the first option [chase after him] to follow him outinto the street.

14. And... that's it. Spend the rest of your days raising your Intelligence if you're aiming for entering the same university as him in the ending. You nolonger have to use the Tarou command. Sit back as you watch his confession,you've earned it!

Komori, Komori... where do I begin? He's a second-year transfer student fromKirameki High, and he looks a little bit like a young L/Ryuuzaki from Death Note. Personality-wise, he's the awkward, introverted hikikkomori type (there's always a first time for everything, eh?). I'm not too sure what kind of dialect he speaks since I'm a bit iffy about the accent. Hmmm.

HOW TO DRAG KOMORI TAKU OUT OF HIS SHELL

1. Ensure your Social parameter's above 50 before the 1st of October in yoursecond year. Wakaouji-sensei will automatically introduce Komori as a transferstudent, and after his somewhat lackluster self-intro, pick the first option,[It's alright to be nervous on your first day!]

2. On the 15th of the same month, Wakaouji-sensei will approach you and askyou to bring some printouts to Komori's apartment - he hasn't been coming to school lately. Choose the first option to agree. Upon reaching his house, though, you're not exactly given a hero(ine?)'s welcome... ><

3. Wakaouji-sensei will approach you once more on the 22nd of OCtober to askyou to check on Komori every now and then and try to persuade him to come toschool. Pick the first option, [Alright, let's try that out]. From that point onwards, Komori's command will appear in green below your list of usual commands.

4. You'll have to consistently spam Komori's command icon to progress with

his love events, so... try not to get too bored. For every 10+ times youcarry out the command, you'll be greeted with a small mini-event (they tendto repeat after a while) with Komori basically telling you that he won't bechanging his mind about going to school. Don't freak out when his commanddisappears during the school breaks, it'll appear again on its own whenyour break ends.

5. In May (if you've been consistently lurking outside his window like thegarden-variety stalker), the plot should finally progress towards the better. Komori will skulk out and ask if you intend to go for Wakaouji-sensei's study date that weekend. You'll say yes, and automatically go for the study date the following weekend.

6. The study date's at the museum, and an out-of-place Komori soon joins bothyourself and Waka-sensei. Not too sure if there were other students on thatstudy date (erm, I think not?), but Waka-sensei will bring Komori and yourselfto the seaside after the museum event.

7. After carrying out Komori's command for the 190th time, you'll find yourself at his doorstep once again with printouts. Your stomach rumbles prettyloudly when he appears, and he asks if you want to come in for some soup. CGalert! You can poke at him for some random hearts while he reveals some of hisreasons for not wanting to be around others in school. Also, you'll make a datewith him at the end of it to go to the aquarium next weekend.

8. Once again, automatic event. You'll meet him there, and head off to checkout the dolphins in the Orca Show together. After the show, you invite him tothe seaside for a walk, where you'll get another CG event with him.

9. The next story event's somewhat shocking. After doing the command with him again, you'll meet him at the door in... his Hanegasaki uniform?? :O Wait, that isn't the surprising part. It's the short bob he sports which makes himlook soo adorable! -insert some unintelligible girlsqueal here- Anyway, youhead off to school together, and guide a nervous Komori into the classroom...

10. From this point on, Komori's "lurk-at-window" icon finally disappears.You'll receive an event after school where he waits at the gate to walk home

with you, and you'll get to see that he's finally beginning to fit in withhis schoolmates. Also, he blurts out that he likes spending time with you(Awww) and that he'll be staying back to repeat his second year at HanegasakiHigh. Despite the different class release times, he says that he'll still waitfor you at the gate to walk home with you.

11. In November, you'll see Komori at the gate once more, though he gets draggedoff by his friends to play basketball. Komori Taku's route splits here - it depends on how high your Social is.

12. For the first route (if your Social's higher than 260), you'll get anautomatic event at the school gate where one of Taku's friends asks if you'rehis girlfriend (lol). First option, [I really want to meet him] to proceedwith the plot. For the second route, raise your Social parameter to 260 to trigger the next event (it might be prudent to start hanging out with your girlfriends again at this point) and you'll find him waiting at the school gate. It seems that his growing popularity means that you have to share, so no walk home for you. First option, [I wonder what I should say today]. And... that's it!

Whichever route you choose, you'll get the same confession, so...

I was hoping for a new batch of mini-games for 2nd Season, but... >< Guess not!Ah well.

+"Borrow the Item" race+

The first game in the annual Sports Event! It's pretty simple, as far as mini-games go. Wait for the starting pistol to go off, then start sliding yourstylus along the line of arrows on the bottom of the screen (left to right).Make sure you hit all he arrows, and drag your stylus faster if you want tospeed up.

Once you get to the half-way point, you'll see a line of chibified faces and a random item displayed in the middle of the screen. Match the item to a face(for example, a teacup would be matched with a normal-looking Saeki, not theone with a scrunched up face!) if the face you're looking for isn't on theexisting panel, just tap your stylus on the left/right arrows to scroll through the panel. By tapping more times on the arrow, the panel scrolls faster. To stop the panel, either press the stop button, or randomly jab on one of the faces.

Once you get it right, it's back to the running part. Slide your way to thefinish!

+Three Legged Race+

You'll pair up with the guy you're at highest affection with for this event.Start by tapping the speech bubble on the right, then on the left (only after they appear!) If you tap too early, your team will trip and fall :D The pacestarts off pretty slow at first, but steadily increases as it goes along.

The bar at the bottom indicates your position on the course :3 t's probablythe least tedious of the Sports Event mini-games.

+Bread Eating competition+

More running here. Run to the bread (located at the half-way point) and you'llfind yourself facing some sort of bar with a piece of bread dangling above.To get the bread in your mouth, tap on the red circle once to make the bar goupwards. Tap it quickly again when it's in the indicated zone, which mighttake several tries. Be careful though, too many tries and that bread will droponto the floor!

For all the above Sports Meet games, if you exceed a time of 99:99 seconds onthe timer, you'll automatically be disqualified...

+Pillow Fight+

Whether you've played this before or not, this game should prove entertainingfor all ages :D

This takes place during the school trip in your second year, where you and your guy duel against your gal pal and her guy.

Controls are even easier this time round. Tap on the screen where you want togo, and tap on the pillow to pick it up. Tap yourself to release the pillow throw it to the other side. If you have good timing, you can catch pillows thrown at you by tapping your character just as you're about to get hit.To charge and do a special attack, you should press and hold on your character. Tap once more to throw the pillow when your charge is full to unleash the fun!

There are 11 pillows in total, so the team with no pillows/the least number of pillows on their side wins. (The little Hikami bar at the bottom's prettycute too.)

If your fitness is low (eg. zero) you pillow throwing distance is ridiculouslysmall. Any pillow you throw will only travel a bit before landing at yourfeet :D

+Valentine Chocolate+

The classic mini-game featured in all of the TMGS games.

For those unfamiliar with the kanji for left and right, I suggest you memorize them now. You'll get some basic instructions on the screen to your right on

how to stir clockwise and anticlockwise, so take note.

My Guide to Making Spiffy Chocolate:1) Don't do this in a moving vehicle.2) Look at the direction of stirring carefully.3) Don't let your stylus touch the outside of the bowl.4) Try to stir in a perfect spiral shape.5) Don't let any of your stir lines intersect, since it's an automatic X.6) Be careful as to where you start stirring. If the whirl starts from the middle, don't start from the side.7) When stirring outwards, make sure you exaggerate the inner curve at the centre of the bowl.8) Don't do disjointed stirring.

If you find that the card doesn't change after you're done stirring, quickly do it again and make your stir line slightly longer.

~ Save before calling for/going on dates!

~ If you're going for multiple guys, buy a variety of colours when shoppingfor clothes. That way, even if you don't have a style that the guy likes, he'llstill compliment you if you're wearing a colour he likes.

~ To get the "special" last CG in the album, you need to get all the other CGsfirst.

~ Club camp rewards and birthday/Xmas/White Day presents are a fantastic wayof parameter raising. If you're having trouble fulfilling certain parametersby a time limit, joining the right club and making the right friends are a greatway of doing so.

-> Similar to TMGS 2nd Kiss, you can find the GS1 characters scattered about thecity when you go out on dates with the GS2 guys.

~ Hazuki Kei: Shopping mall from July to August (he’s on a banner for a bridal collection!) ~ Kijyou Madoka: Amusement Park for the Circuit, November in 2006, May &

August in 2007, and April and August in 2008. (He’s cheering in the stands) ~ Morimura Sakuya: Habataki Mountain, Momiji Period (He’s in that ridiculous umbrella hat-thing) ~ Suzuka Kazuma: White Tiger exhibit at the Zoo. -> Switching on your DS at different times of the day will present you withdifferent voice greetings from the guy whose ending you received last. Youalso get different messages on your birthday, Christmas, Valentines Day, andso on. Also, there are three different welcome screens you can view (A whiteone during the day, a red one in the afternoon, and a lovely night sky for theevenings and early morn )

-> If you date the guy at highest affection with you on your birthday, he'llgive you your present at the end of the date (you'll get a special conversationwith that! :3 )
