Ceremony of Appointment for Directors of Metropolitan City & Province HQ of

" National Campaign Headquarters for a Strong Korea"

On Fe bruary 7, the Ceremony of Appointment for dire ctors of Metropolitan City and Province HQ of

Citizen's Action For Strong Korea was held on the 13 floor of the Tongil Foundation Building in the

presence of 70 participants, including Chairman Kook Jin Moon, various le aders, and directors of

Metropolitan City & Province HQ. The event commenced with opening remarks given by HQ Co-director

Moo Sang 1m; followed by an activity planning report by Secretary Ge neral Keung Seok Yu, a Presidency

greeting by president Jeong Ro Yeon, president Joon Ho Seok and president Sun Jo Hwang and an award

presentation. The keynote address was given by Chairman Kook Jin Moon, followed by three enthusiastic

cheers of Okmansei led by HQ Co·director Jin Hwi Kim. During his address, Mr. Moon repe atedly

emphasized why Korea should be strong from the providential and historical viewpoinL

Special Lecture in 2012 World Peace Corps New Year Seminar

On January 29, Mr. Kook Jin Moon gave the special lecture titled 'Strong Korea?' at

CheongPyeong Cheong A Camp, during the 2012 World Peace Corps New Year Seminar.

USA GPA Tongil Foundation visit

On February 2, S5 members of Generation Peace Academy visited Tongil Foundation. GPA is

an education program dedicated to training the future leaders of Western Unification Church.

This visit began with a report on Tongil Group's progress in 2011 given by Secretary

General Sun Pyo Hong, followed by a report on the current situation of Unificationism by

World Missionary Headquarters director Sung-il Cho. Then the GPA members watched a video

presentation on President Hyung Jin Moon's visit to North Korea, as well as the Year 2011

report of Tongil Group.

Mr. Kook Jin Moon emphasized, Hyou should be the strong Able not weak able ." After the

speech, the GPA choir, whose performance won the grand prize in the Second Annual

Unification Church Choir Competition, offered songs.
