DevelopmentAccess to energy, water and telecommunications is a key factor in the
development of the poorest communities around the globe.
Sunco has targeted these 3 areas in designing its solar-based solutions.
Water
Nearly 1 billion people do not have access to clean water.
3.6 million people die annually from a disease relating to lack of clean
water.Low productivity in agriculture is a main cause ofthe lack of food
supply in developing countries.
Energy
1.6 billion people around the globe do not have access to electricity
(22% of global population).
Current forecasts place this number at 1.4 billion in 2030 (16%).
The number of Africans without access to electricity will actually
increase by 2030.
TelecomApproximately 5.3 billion people own a mobile phone, with 90% of the
worlds population living in a mobile coverage area.
Mobile growth dividend in developing countries.

Primary areas of activity

Sunco has focused its R&D efforts on creating solar solutions
in three key development areas: Energy, Water and
Telecommunications.
The company has developed a portfolio of robust, plug & play
products which require little maintenance and have all been
tested in the most adverse conditions with notable success.
The range of applications of these products is extensive,
allowing the creation of sustainable business models which
help develop the communities where they are implemented:
- Rural electrification
- Agricultural development
- Food supply
Sunco provides an end-to-end service for the client, coveringfrom initial analysis of the specific need, to design of the
solution and its operation and maintenance.

Global presence
4
Local presence established through subsidiary or partnership agreements
Local presence limited to projects closed or ongoing
Sunco has its headquarters in Barcelona, Spain, where it also has its center for R&D, design and engineering.
Suncos potential markets are primarily in developing countries, where the demand for energy grows faster than the capacity to supply
it. The company has identified Latin America, Africa and Asia as regions of greatest interest, closing significant commercial agreements
in these areas, and currently negotiating a number of others.
In its first commercial expansion phase, Sunco has incorporated subsidiary companies in Indonesia and Mexico, and aims to do the
same in Peru and Cameroon in the short term.
Furthermore, the company has closed exclusive distribution agreements in Peru, Colombia, Algeria, United Arab Emirates, Nepal and
Indonesia.
Suncos commercial strategy is to consolidate its position in the countries it views as priority, in which the company is alreadyestablished, with a view to cover demand of neighboring countries on a case by case basis, and expand geographically as a response to
identifying significant demand for its solutions.
