Welcome to Career Day!

Welcome Students: We are excited to have you at the 2019 Northeast Nebraska Career Day. We hope you embrace this opportunity to learn about a variety of career options. Today you will have the opportunity to talk with representative’s who will give you helpful information about their chosen career. During these career sessions be sure to take an active role in learning about the area; ask questions, take notes and gather all the information you can about what it takes to be a success in that field.

Need Help or Directions? . . . ASK!

Planning team members will have name tags and most will be wearing University of Nebraska Shirts.

Student Ambassadors Respect:

Please wear your Name Tags so it can be seen by the presenter. They want to know your name.

Please be respectful of the property in each room and on Wayne State College Campus. We want to be sure that everything is in good condition when we leave.

Please be courteous to Presenters as they have voluntarily taken time out of their work day to speak to you today.

Please do not make cell phone calls or text during class time. Lunch:

Check your name tag/folder for your designated lunch time. o Your Counselor will have your Lunch ticket, if you purchased one. o WSC lunch room is in the Student Center. The dining room is located on the upper level. o Lunch buffet is all you can eat, but take only what you will eat. Time is limited - eat fast!) o Tickets will be collected at the door. o Please return your own lunch tray and pick-up the area around you.

Students with a sack lunch. o Please eat in the lower level of the Student Center or outside, weather permitting. o Please dispose of all trash properly.

Evaluations:

You will evaluate your Career Day experience on-line after you return to school. Please make time to complete the evaluation thoroughly and honestly.
