AirTouch now works with Google Assistant to give you voice control of your air conditioning.

Just start with “Ok Google” or “Hey Google” and your Assistant is ready to help.

Getting Started

Download the latest Google Assistant App to your Apple iOS or Google Android device.

From the homescreen, tap the Explore button.

Tap Settings from the drop down menu ( or ) in the top right corner of the screen.

Scroll down and tap Home Control to enter the Home Control Setup menu (see page 8).

Home Control Menu

The Home Control menu lists all services that are available for Google Assistant to control. It is the same for both the Google Home and Google Assistant Apps.

For AirTouch to appear in this menu, it needs to be added as a service.

Tap the + icon to enter the Add devices menu.

Find and tap AirTouch.

Choose and sign into your Google Account.

You will then be taken to the AirTouch Management Console login screen (page 10).

AirTouch Management Console

The AirTouch Management Console screen is the place to view, add and remove devices linked to your account.

Enter your AirTouch Device ID and password.

Tap Next, and AirTouch will be automatically added to your Google Assistant service list.

Each zone listed in AirTouch will be treated as an individual room by Google Assistant.

Now you can control your home’s climate with your voice using Google Assistant on your smartphone or Google Home Smart Speaker.

Turn the Air Conditioning On or Off

• Turn on/off the Air Conditioning

• Switch on/off the Air Conditioning

• Turn on/off the <Zone Name>

• Switch on/off the <Zone Name>

• Turn on/off all <AC Unit Name/Zones>

• Switch on/off all <AC Unit Name/Zones>

You want to... Just sayOk Google/Hey Google...

Change the Mode of your Air Conditioning

• Set <AC Unit Name> to cool/heat

• Change <AC Unit Name> to cool/heat

• Switch <AC Unit Name> to cool/heat (If the unit is off, will turn it on)

Change the Temperature Set Point

• Set <Zone Name> to <temperature>

• Change <Zone Name> to <temperature>

Handy TipUse AirTouch to name your Zones and AC Unit easy to remember names like, “Living Room” or “Downstairs Air Conditioner”

Increase/Decrease the Temperature

• Cool down/Warm up <AC Unit Name/Zone Name> (will change by 3°C)

• Increase/Decrease <AC Unit Name/ Zone Name> (will change by 3°C)

• Cool down/Warm up <AC Unit Name/Zone Name> by <temperature value in °C>

• Increase/Decrease <AC Unit Name/ Zone Name> by <temperature value in °C>

Query the Temperature • What is <AC Unit Name/Zone Name> set to?

• What is the temperature of <AC Unit Name/Zone Name>?

Query the Status of the Air Conditioning

• Is <AC Unit Name/Zone Name> on or off?

• Are <AC Unit Name/Zone Names> on or off?

• What is the mode of <AC Unit Name>?

• What mode is <AC Unit Name> in?

Note for iOS UsersYou will need to open the Google Assistant App, or use the App widget, when voicing these commands.
