TW@ESI20th December 2015Hope that you and all your families had a good weekend and hope all your Christmas preparations are all well in hand. The following is an update of what was achieved during the past week and a forecast of the next week
By now we have most of our employees on this discussion group except Ludovic, Clinton, Lino, Victor, Brian, Rodney, Daniele, Pawlu, Michael ... Please... All of you.. Join!!
Projects and deadlines
• We are presently executing a number of fast track projects and I would like to summarise the major ones them as follows:– 14_081 - Siggiewi Primary School BMS- We are really
nearly done now and I want everyone to put an effort to finish off this project by end of Jan 2016- Commissioning, snag clearing, training, documentation.... All of it!
– 13_076 - MDH Block D Ext MAU- Same as above ... We can really try to finish off by end of Jan 2016
Projects and deadlines– 12_043_Life_Sciences- This is a hot project and we need
to complete yesterday- we need to focus on a close out program here
– 14_089_MGA_DAC_PA_Va and 14_027_SCM_FTIS- DAC – This is now nearly all wrapped up- excluding snags by others
– 15_008 - Aurobindo PH02 BMS- The project has been delayed by the contractor – so my message is to press on doing software until the contractor starts meeting the deadlines
– 15_033_Westin_7-AHU- The plan is to commission within Jan 2016.
DesignLast Week• SCM Lagoon Pump Room – Released Terminating
Matrix • SCM FTIAS – Gathered, Implemented & Completed
As Built Feedback, incl O&M CDs• SCM MGA - Gathered, Implemented & Completed
As Built Feedback, incl O&M CDs• Life Sciences – Smoke Control Panel Drawing UpdateNext Week• Admin and IT tasks
Installation
• Last week we were focused on– Life Sciences Commissioning– MAU testing– ESI premises– Sterling PPM
• Next week– Life Sciences Commissioning– ESI premises– Parliament CCTV faults
Panel Build• Westin AHU MCCs which is to be delivered in first
week of January.• Next in line - SCM Lagoona and Intercontinental
Mater Dei
• Things are coming back to normal with the MDH operation and maintenance tasks
Development and Commissioning• We have done large important steps on finishing off the
Parliament we need to get the documentation out of the way too to avoid us going time and time again on site
• The last issues on the DAC for SCM PH2• SCM PH2 needs also some attention on the tagging purchase
order for the BMS- CVA is to work on this• The Bosch HSDK interface is well advanced and we awaiting the
client• The PLC/SCADA team have been working on the FUN Tests of
MAU• We have also been addressing a number of issues for TSP Two
Man rule
Development and Commissioning• There is huge amount of work to do with the commissioning
of Life Sciences 12_043!! We are on a very tight time frame here and we need to dig really deep and perform
• OTM urgent jobs and snags were also done in the last weeks• Another project that needs attention is CCA Villa ... There
are still snags to be addressed• The Siggiewi Primary school project – we need to close off –
the quicker the better!!• Aurobindo is another important and, now, fast track project
We are awaiting the main contractor for us to start commissioning the Priority A items
Sales and Business Development
• We have been working on Home automation offerings and quotes for variations for existing projects.
• We have been successful in winning some new projects– 15_038_new_HA- A new home automation for
Oliver Voigt– 15_044_Hilton Hotel – New AHU/Fan/Pump with
JACE controls

• I have asked all of you involved in projects, what have you learnt? How can we improve? So that next time we do things better!! Please give this attention so that we can start documenting a list of lessons we have learned from past projects and try to do things better the next time round- I really need all your help here- we have a lot to learn and improve upon
• Many thanks to the people who have contributed already
