Salway Place
University garden
SIUC Garden
Low structural hedge planting to separate planting areas
The garden area provides a temporary secluded and secure quiet break-out space private to the SIUC building.
A series of seating compartments are separated by native planting bands and aromatic planting species adding wildlife value to the site and a pleasant and calming external space to eat, read, meet and relax.
Access is gained from a secure gate from Salway Place leading into the covered bike store, which is designed to be a collection of moveable components allowing access to facade if maintenance is required through-out the year. Both the cover and stands are plate and bolt fixed to the ground which will allow easy removal if required.
