CASE FINNAIR – DIGITAL RETAILER

Finnair – Creating an API platform for ancillary sales

A strategic goal for Finnair is to increase the sales

of ancillary products (upgrades, bags, seat

reservation, meals etc.)

In early 2015, Finnair started working with CGI to

build the first integration services which offer a

simple API for this purpose, enabling sales of

ancillaries in all Finnair’s channels
