Virtual Imaging Delivers True Immersion
Imagine 4D believes that TEAMS physically interacting with each other on HIGH-VALUE ASSETS (large-scale complex environments and equipment) in an immersive virtual environment WITHOUT UNCOMFORTABLE HEADGEAR that correctly provides TRUE DEPTH PERCEPTION can dramatically change the way operations, design, planning and training are performed.

Conventional VR Limitations
• Requires bulky/ uncomfortable headset
• Single user experience
• Use for limited durations (i.e. eye fatigue & motion sickness)
• Loss of spatial awareness/ orientation (i.e. not realistic)
• Rapid obsolescence

True 3D Visualization
• Offers superior training environment and minimizes risk of catastrophic events
• Facilitates design and review of workflows• Increases productivity and minimizes project risks• Enables true immersion for understanding complex data sets• Facilitates virtual visits to design, understand, plan, showcase and interact
with high-value assets

How Station IX Works
• Carefully designed optical system
• Astigmatic Characteristics of Classic Collimated Displays Eliminated
• Viewing Box extended 10 fold
• Optimized virtual imaging technology controls size and shape of virtual images viewed in curved mirrors
• Presents imagery with correct physical and accurate psychological cues
• Result: Accurate 3D imagery seen by multiple people simultaneously with accurate and unlimited depth range

Shared VR Systems Comparison
Station IX CAVE Igloo Flat Panel Displays/Powerwalls
Large 280-degree immersive display environment using
curved mirrors to present 3D data & real-time images to
groups of people for collaboration, without the need for head-mounted
devices (“Reflected Reality”).
CAVEs (“Cave Automatic Virtual Environment”) are custom/bespoke, typically cube-shaped environments that deploy high-end rear-projection technology.
“Igloo” brand name refers to original dome-shaped
systems. Igloo available in range of standardized shapes and sizes. Typically, a 360-
degree cylinder-shaped space, deploying high-resolution
forward-projection technology.
A Powerwall is a large-scale, flat, high-resolution display system that uses projection
technology. Displays typically tend to be screens or glass
panels.
