Message from Director AEEC
Dr. Saurabh Srivastava
We are happy to bring another volume of Yashas in 2017.
Moody’s raised India’s rating from the lowest investment
grade of Baa3 to Baa2. This has changed India's outlook from
stable to positive. It’s the first upgrade of India’s rating in 14 years. This rating is
expected to improve investment sentiment of foreign investors. This may benefit
entrepreneurs who bank upon funding of their projects from investors.
This edition of Yashas highlights AIMS Family Entrepreneurship Day observed in the
campus. Students having entrepreneurs in their families shared their insights and
values that thy have gained from entrepreneurs in their family. AIMS Alumni
Entrepreneurship Day was observed and Alumni entrepreneurs were felicitated and
honoured on their spectacular achievements. This edition brings a report on Yashas
re-launch done in the month of August 2017.
In the coming days we are sure to witness many start-ups from our campus as
awareness of AEEC is spreading across all programmes offered at AIMS. We hope to
bring about more awareness, assistance, networking, mentoring and other possible
support students.
Happy reading!
