• Your attitude is a key in successfully recruiting volunteers

• Too much honesty/desperation can be a turn off

• Begging rarely works out• Beware too much passion• Share your love

New Members Are Good Volunteers

• Invite new members to volunteer• Involve them while their still excited• Younger members typically have fewer

family commitments = more time• Don’t let lack of experience be a turn off• New members potentially are newer to the

business and they appreciate the contacts/benefits

• Double up on positions• Be selective about which positions need to
